Ap aura is unecessary for your and is largly irrelevent late game for other classes and why would you run it over str, tough, resists aura combo
AP is useful haha, it steals fromt he, and gives to you and your party, with the AP gen and a mere +3 AP regen from items, im able to non stop attack. I dont really need to explain how thats useful

Heal Debuff, also a very specific usage. But i will keep that to myself.
(Hint: Its very easy to figure out lol)

PS, im also often inb a 2 Chosen Party with my guilds Premade, the other chosen we run with does NOT use same build as me, and we do pretty well.

the only thing i can conceed is that warped flesh seems working badder than live here , due to chance to proc calculate in a different way ( seems proc a lot lower than in live),or maybe absorb in live got use after damage reduction but i am not sure to said, it was that way, anyway you will not have a 10% crit reduction working vs bw, depending on spec bw can have 90-100% crit chance and it will most likely have it thx to order crit meta.
When it cames to % there is very a few difference when you are in the high part or in the low part.
So even if bw have 80% crit it will still crit you 99% of the time instead 80% it can bug you but it work like this.
Point is chosen aura + BO 20% magic damage less or oppression eventually should easily cover for it so you may want use other stuff. The fact is chosen may feel as op but is really well balanced in utility / damage done / and defense, you need synergy with other ppl but you can reach higer results especially with a BO that spam aoe, which basically let you go with 2 auras more cos he can take care of stats buff/debuff.

for pve the combination cripple strike + oppresion give you the best damage reduction in game while tanking bosses.

i'm not 35 yet but it's hard try to fit tactics like that and backslash with only 3 tactic slot anyway.

being 1 a mandatory super punt....
and the second parry to not melt.

still also thinking how i should path spec at 35....

I've built like http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=cho ... 81:4791:0: I know it seems a bit silly to skip the abilities but I built with the aim of providing the most protection I could for the group basicaly I'm a walking buff bot on chosen anyway I'm just embracing the role :-D .

In this spec I have decent assist DPS, good mobility for a tank and excellent survivability thanks to that huge resistance buff.

As an aside does it look like to anyone else when they designed chosen they thought let's make the perfect tank to assist bombing?

you are not silly, i do find difficult spec with this so few points having all support on chosen stacking with discord path and have other stuff to take on the other 2 path.

I was thinking on going something like this but im not sure http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=cho ... 781:4791:0:

atm im' still 34 and tried something like this just to test it,
http://waronlinebuilder.org/#career=cho ... 781:4791:0:

order seems to hit pretty a lot anyway even when oppression active but the survability is laughable with oppression and suppression being both shatterable and shattered most of time and it can happen to have not active for 1-2 sec mix defense due to low block rate and low activation time.
mixed defense help a lot with guard damage that's for sure, that's also why it's difficult for me take 1 build or another.

Good choice IMHO. I'm aiming for the same build for RvR and SCs(at least until I get decent 2h wep).
But for for pure RvR I would give up on downfall and spend free points on Discordant Tree (either get discordant turbulence or simply get higher in the path)

yah im purely utility for the bomb group, AP Regen and Heal Debuff. Quake for good measure. sure im missing out on alot of things, but the fact of the matter is, Im still last to die in SC's and im taking the most chances.

i swap it around though cus I often play with another Chosen in our group who specs a bit differently
