You guys really all are - excuse me - f*cking stupid right? Where the hell will ANYone draw out a ridiculous (like you all state it) advantage with just 10% more speed? If i have a 60% speed mount on my Sorc, will i always run 1309243029feet in front of my Group to just demount one enemy and then get insta rekt? This advantage you all are talking about is pure sh*t and you should be happy the devs even be nice enough to reward you for your actual jobs here. since you all are nothing else but testers.

This really _only_ may be an issue if your allmighty server-wide feared DPS-AMs grabs you with this while youre solo running around. But even then it takes enough time to close the gap with just 10% difference. Nonethelesss everyone complaining here should just grow some brain.

Think about it like this. There is a nerf to Festering Arrow tactic that it only removes 50% of the targets resists. However there will be 3 players (let's say three for the arguments sake) who will magically have this tactic to stay how it used to be, ignoring all the targets resists. What they had to do to gain this advantage was to have the impeccable skills of being in the right place at the right time (also known as random, luck etc.) AND quick fingers of reporting the bug before anyone else does. You understand my point?

You are overthinking this WAY too much.

I understand your frustration, but I hope you realize you are practically negotiating with terrorists when you go down this road.

That's a bad analogy. Imagine every player has a softcap on resists. 3 players know a bug that allows them to have as much resistance as they like. Would you rather have these 3 players have 90% mitigation or is 10% more movement speed maybe the lesser devil there?

Irrelevant to choose between lesser evils in this case. People who have voiced their concerns in this thread have suggested refraining to cosmetic effects only.

which would be a good idea to reward players for reporting bugs, but this is to incentivize players to report "game breaking" bugs. The nature of those bugs is that most players want to keep them secret because they want to benefit from it. A cosmetic mount is probably not enough of an incentive to report it

I think the mount idea is a good one, not because i want one but if ppl refuse to report dupe/gold exploits because they are greedy/selfish **** then an incentive to report such issue may help us all in the long run.
