Now if there only was a class , whose aoe tree is also its main single target tree and can do both with just a swap of a tactic ;)

I will not deny that it is a refreshing experience to test the new aoe changes.
However some classes like Sorc's aoe tree is obsolet now and as a Marauder you don't need to put a singel point into the monstrosity tree to be able to crit for 2.8k+ with demolition.
There is no morale race anymore so morale drain tactic isn't necessary to use and using wrecking ball feels gimped in comparison to what demolition is able to do, thus making it a useless ability to waste points on.

So basically you use demolition for the first few seconds when and if your opponents are blobbed up and then switch over to singeltarget assist.

6man will have a tougher time, seeing as 24man will have singeltarget assist mixed in their setup.

18-24man is in an awkward position, they can't go full aoe setup without screwing it up for themselfs and going full ST means every group needs a main assist to work properly.
Having a mix of maybe 2 aoe parties and 2 ST rdps assist parties is the way to go, time will tell.

12man is possibly the strongest setup in orvr right now, in my humble opinion.

6-12-24man still gonna lose to the 2-3 warbands blobbing together. All you need to do as a blob is surounding the smaller group instead of attacking it head on and they still have no chance.

Hi. Ok here is something I noticed. I dont really like the new AoE system. Before when I was using shoot thhru ya on my squig I was making from 300-1500 damaged now I make 50-100 you wrote in patch notes that it decrease slightly damage but I see different. I know that this is to break the zerg but when Im defending my keep and like yday in BC I wanted to be in front of the doors to make top damage I couldnt even get through by other players because of the colision to be in first line . I think squig skill should not be affected by this AoE system as most of the time we cant be in first line because of the collision at keeps. Like sorc or bw their skills can be placed far away from their teammates or players outside of WB and they can nuke like crazy but skills like squig or SW has are nerfed for me:(

Gotta say, being instagibbed while defending lord room by multiple 2,5 demo crits wasn't the most fun moment in ROR, but again, thats due to not adapting to the new "Rvr meta". Suppose jumping off the wall and destroying their bacline would be more efficient. Given some time to adapt I still think this is a good change, might need a little tweaking, but I'm sure thats on the "to do" list :)

Did some sc's later night and i saw one premade running aoe choppa and aoe mara and they were doing a lot of dmg, basically spamming Lotsa Choppin and Demolition killing guarded mdps and healers way faster tbh

The damage bonus only applies after the 6th target, in a 12 v 12 sc its very very unlikely to see every player on top of each other allowing for big aoe numbers, you have to hit around 15 - 20 players + for low tooltip aoe damage (lotsa choppin/demolition) to do any reasonable damage. sounds like bs to me.

Sorry but are you crazy with the new system for aoe , 1 party kill one wb in the keep, how the hell, stop doing bullshit with the game plz.

Pics or it didn't happen.

I actually recall organised 6 mans being able to defend a keep against immeasurable before the AoE mechanic change. Now could it be that either their organisation and positioning beats the numbers you have? Who knows; let's blame it on the AoE system instead.
