Are you running forceful shock? The calculator you linked shows it highlighted. I'm not sure why you'd want that over other defensive options. There's still Isha's protection, impeccable reactions and Discerning offence to choose from. Other than that, that is the build I am using for my wb.

hello i have a few questions. please forgive if i've got some things confused i've been through all the patch notes and tried to compile the changes but i don't think the builder is completely updated. i have no exp of high lvl SM

- is vauls tempering ever used? it seems that BOs don't really like their mirror ability. the awful uptime makes it seem pretty weak
- is raking talon a good tactic to build a def/support build around? it looks really nice on paper but don't know if the 20ft is too restrictive
- does crushing advance armour gain stack with pots?
- is WW mandatory for WBs?
- what is the best opener? none seem great looks like i'd wanna shift through normal balance as often as possible

no wb exp. just testing of skills.
vaul's tempering - most random efficiency skill in the game. 1s cast 3sec uptime against instant CCs. fire and pray for rng god. not sure inc dmg reduction for 3sec is any better than 5pt hoeth grp shield.
need more test with math.
raking talon - must be used with challenge.
it's wonderful against melee train.
opener - pick one depend on situation. DoT. undefendable, shield, spirit dmg.

do u know how it stacks? a 100dmg hit would be turned to 56 vs your allies?

challenge + dragon talon reduce 100 to 56 afaik. guess same with raking talon.
