I think its the whole armor ignore thing that might be broken as I've seen no difference on AW/torment dmg from behind targets without FP up.. Neither have i seen a dmg boost to sundering chop and mara mirror ability.

Ability damage isn't tied into positionals. Only the client ability enabled check and some debuffs/cc that the client sends. The server isnt using position to modify damage calculations.
Aggro seems to be who did the most damage over the last couple of seconds and taunt/detaunt overrule. Ive yet to see someone pull through healing or guard have much effect. Healing had a higher priority on aggro in live and you could keep guard aggro easier from heals.

Question- do dot ticks break detaunt ? sorry if this has been asked and responded to but i couldn't find any info while browsing this thread.

They do atm, but on the original server they didn't break it if the detaunt is cast after the dot(s).

Cheers. Yea i have been hesitant when dotting ppl because detaunt seemed to break it now u confirmed it for me :)

Yes detaunt were only broken by casts not the actual ticks

Really ticks doing half damage on detaunted targets would have been better for balance.

Been looking into another strange issue. Most of my addons that use player levels in some way aren't always getting that information. Only if a player levels up. While the default mythic target boxes don't show this level increase.

I suspect that level is stored in 2 place in the structure and only getting one from the server and another when leveling up.
When they level up I'm able to inspect and get proper rvr flag info from them. I dont know if this is something to do with the unflag issue. If players have just leveled up and its confusing the client. I might attach a debugger and see what leveling up does to the structure.

Level is being sent incorrectly in the current code. There are two entries in the player creation packet for level but only one of them is being filled in, the one representing effective (bolstered) level. Should be fixed in next.

Cool. Didnt like the thought of trying to update a load of lua addons with warwiki and all the old resources gone.

Brutal assault cant be used from any position when Vengeful is done .
