Should be active now if you do everything right.

So your account is activated or you would have the message : "your accoutn is not activated".

Check carefully your case.

Ever since the server went down yesterday, any time I try to login it says my account is not active.

Id greatly appreciate a fix as soon as is convenient.

Should be fine now. Also it might be a restart of the server when you tried to log again.

Your account should be active now, also we have some trouble with gmx.de emails so I advise you to make a google email and use it.
