Here a short description of our 7pm patrol.
On time at 7pm all the dwarfs of the Bitterstone Thunderers met at Barak Varr Warcamp. I was really impressed that we got 18 dwarfs on the spot. With 6 of them Runepriests we had the luxury to spread them as two on each group. To my knowing we never had that much Runkis at our disposal.
After a short training session, which was also the smoothest session in the history of the last 15 Events, the dwarfs were ready for action. But we had different Orders.
In Nordland was a reported vicious Wolf. A beast of enormous size. Elven Scouts reported it to be a lvl 10 Hero which does 2800 Damage per hit. Once we were in Nordland the removal of the Chicken Curse proved more than an obstacle. But we made it to the Cave of the beast and fought us inside.
Alas the surprise as we saw that Morra, the name of the wicked beast was now a lvl 39 Hero with 16.600 Damager per hit. It took us an hour to wither the beast down. All the time hampered by spontaneous transformations into chickens.
But we made it! Special Thanks to the Runkis who set up a new record on Resurrection’s per minute, AND Resurrection’s per hour! Thank you very much.
We killed Morra, and she dropped a lvl 25 Doommantle, nothing special, but that was actually the point to prove.
The last Players who have slayed her, reported of a lesser Morra and drops of special Wolf Items. Especially usefull for appearance hunters.
So while we have only won honor in slaying the beast, I can also now write a bugreport to fix this.
After that tiring slaying we went into the RvR. The dwarfs were eager, and me too.
We marshed into Barak Varr, only to find no one to fight. At the Mossy Tunnel we were greeted by some Order Allies, telling us that the Enemy was ambushing on the other Side of the Tunnel.
In force we went through the Tunnel and to the Battle Field Objective on the other Side. Right on time, as a 6 man party of destros, all clad in red attacked the Objective.
If the word “Destro premade” need a picture for the Wiki you could take on of them. We were 18 dwarfs and some Order allies, and they simply refused to die! But in the end our numbers and Healers won us the fight. So as we were told that the enemie had been ambushing the mossy Tunnel we set up our regiment in front of the tunnel. Landmines ready, Turrets on Autofire. That game could be played by both sides!
I felt under my beard a little sorry for the poor destro souls who went through the tunnel to been greeted by 8 turrets, 3 Landmines and a regiment of dwarfs who have for the last hour fired shots on an angry wolf.
But soon Fangbreaka Keep was open for attack and we moved in Force to take them. The Red Clad Destro Squad was also there. But we were too much in numbers for them to defend against.
After the successful Siege Promotions were made, and one Marauder shot who tried to Fotobomb our group Picture. Well, we bombed him for the try.
After that the official Event was over and we went to Elf, and then Troll Country, directly into the server crash of that Evening. But that is another story.
On next Patrol we will go into RvR directly. Promised.
