DPS doks and dps WP's are just pathethic. No heal, no survivability, no utility and no damage. I always laugh when I see playing against me on sc. They fall down so easily.
Of course you can find a guardbot and a healbot, that will make you quite tanky... But what's the point? Anyone can be tanky under heal with a guard but your damage is still totall crap compared to "real" dps. Better to take a mara or bw instead of you.

You can play whatever you want. But will be thankful if your dps wp/dok stays out of my groups/scenes. At least untill you reach 100rr

Dps DoK is fine, most of these forum warriors barely play the game, it's great 1v1, 1v2 and is more fun than other classes imo, can provide extreme healing as well and is more than capable of keeping a smaller group alive in little skirmish fights if that's what you enjoy. Play what's fun not what's defined as good by the 6 man tryharders on a private server.

Oh come on. I see those super-duper dps doks every days on scenes. Almost every sc has at least a single dps dok or wp on it, especially t1-t2. And I always deal with them easily. Not because I'm so good but because being dps dok/priest just not working good. It was the same when I tried to play a dps dok myself: op 1 vs 1-2, toally nothing in rvr and on scenes.
I'm not trying to offend those who want to play dps dok/wp, I'm just trying to discourage them from making the same mistake I did.

I actually thought that swtor's implementation of disciplines was a great way to finally resolve this whole issue of dps healers or dps tanks.

It basically eliminated "hybrid" specs by locking people into a set tree path. The beauty was - a match making system was then implemented and it allowed dps healers (like a sorc) to que as dps and heal spec sorcs to que as heals becuase the discipline tree was the defining characteristic that was evaluated.

In a game like WAR - where tanks and heals on one team and not the other can have a HUGE impact on scenario outcome.... i wish something like this existed. It would ensure that scenarios would/could be balanced with like for like heals/tanks/dps. and it would eliminate people yelling at dps WP or dok because they would be flagged as dps and would not be mistaken by the system as heals when infact doing dps.
