When you are balancing the scales, it is not important that the two things are the same material, just that they weigh the same. We don't need both sides to be carbon copies to achieve balance, it is harder to strive for but not impossible.

I voted partially. I like that all classes are different and unique, but some skills are too powerful to have them only on one side.
- Ranged KD
- Mara Pull >>>>>> WL pull
- Pounce
- CoC
- Run Away
etc.
Im not saying those abilities should be given to their mirrors (Mara with Pounce? hell no!) but maybe they could be given to some of the classes that are considered "UP". For example:
- Give ranged KD to Magus
- Give CoC equivalent to Swordmaster
- Give Run Away to healing AM (put that tactic up there in their healing tree)
- Give Pounce to WEs or Choppas
- Give a good ST pull (similar to the Marauder's) to WHs? (to balance them with WEs if they get a Pounce)
Something like that.

The discussion is moot. From the way I understand the emulator works, making sweeping changes to class mechanics is not possible.

non mirrored classes is what makes war what it is, and frankly it would be boring if everything was mirrored.
The more Op skills/tactics/morales just need slight tweaks.

an awful, boring idea. i understand it's because of the sheer impossiblity of ensuring a true balance between disparate forces, but the disparite forces is the point.
and as a long time dwarf army player, get out of here with that engineers attacks are now magic" nonsenese, go learn yourself some science lad.

No, just no. Not being mirrored makes the game even more exciting. It would suck to know that the opposite side is exactly the same as your side. Plus it is obvious that op does not like anyone who does not side with him, glad to see some of the development team also saying no, makes it more likely it will never happen and that is good.
