If someone bought a bunch of gear with all that gold...wouldn't you want that to be wiped?

yes but as i said, there is hardly any worth buying gear out there, probly. only the underwork stuff which prices skyrocketed to last few weeks. and gear gets gold fast when lvlcap is raised.

talismans and potions have longer endurance and need to be wiped. (also those already fused of course).


gear and mount wipe prbly. still necessary cause exploiters would just hort those instead of their gold. we were all there already... it must happen...

Just wipe the Purples then. No need to take away people their Scenario weapons. Blues are trash anyway, and it's 2ez to farm blue frags.

Question:

I've worked my a$$ off leveling talisman making / salvaging / scavenging.

I've spent alot of time farming champs to scavenge for purple frags and make purple talis that I sell on the AH.

I've only been here a week or so now...but if you "wipe" the server, do you destroy all of the gold I've made by farming?

I know this is just a game and don't want to sound totally petty - but that would really irritate me. I'd lose the talis and time I've put into the game for nothing.

Just curious what you do in this scenario.

A weird item wipe is not a must, a gold and talisman wipe is though.

Can we quit with the wipes please? It is getting old. You want these exploiters to suffer? Wiping will not do anything. They will just find the next bug in the game to exploit and we are back to square one.

You want to sell your tallies and pots and gear to real players? Easy ... do as I do, announce it in /AD channel. In five minutes tops I have my item sold. ****...we can have an old fashioned market day faire in the capital cities where people sell items to other people.

Yes, I know its a pain in the rear, but after a few weeks or month stuff will iron itself out.

People are working their asses off to farm mats for blue and purple tallies that they make themselves .... and now you are going to wipe because of two or three people?
