totaly block an attack is better than reduces damages, since the chosen have a parry buff you can also boost dodge disrupt to reach a good 30-40-50-50 (more or less) with out parry tactic (hold the lind on) then you can decide how to build chosen in mastery, the point that remain after this are 10, which with no hardly concessiona and no active skill you can either put in str or toughness.
