Reduce XP/RR level gains 10 times.
Levelling and gaining RR levels now becomes an epic struggle. People who seek "the bestest character evah" will play only one character. The rest will play characters as they did before.
As soon as Xrealmer realizes he is unable to get more than one levelled and well-equipped character (for pro players, spending 8+ hours a day, 2 characters), he will stop Xrealming and will play the only character he likes.
This won't solve probable situation of 75 % people choosing Destro character, of course.
Or he would just quit the game. i know i would. Why the hell grind so much? This is the worst suggestion i have read so far in this thread.

And making RoR a mindless Korean Grinder game? No, thanks.
That's not a solution, because you are putting casual players out of the equation.
One of the worst suggestions i've read today.

Casual players do not care about winning, gear, equipment, xrealmers and keep trading. If they do, they are no longer casuals.
Any solution that won't force people to invest/waste time into just one character will lead to Xrealming as optimal attitude for the game of 2 realms is joining the realm that wins. Having 2 characters is therefore optimal.
If you do not agree with the attitude of "Grind is a must", may I kindly suggest to contact our developers for a 2nd server where everyone has 26/30 and top equipment automatically for every character. After watching similar servers die in many other projects, I will gladly watch how will it fare as RoR Martyr's Wellfare.
[Your offer will probably be refused due to time reasons and also due to the fact it will obviously lack enough population.]

You are obviously not able to post anything useful.
The only thing which comes from you are insults and retarded comments.
Tell me what wisdom did I miss in your post?
Edit: No I don't take the ip-adress blockade idea seriously.

Grinding in PVP games is completely the wrong way to do it. MOBAs have proven that.
Grinding for cosmetic stuff is fine, and I think it's a better incentive.

To avoid such matter they can create a new account and roam freely yet again, but how many of the current X-realmers are going to create a new character to grind one more time with same name, items that the previous one possessed? Not that many.
Unless... The server blocks the IP-adress and puts a restriction so that the IP-adress can only be accessed by one IP-adress at the time. This would decrease heavily the current imbalance.
Or... Force people to stop X-realming in a other way.
will this stop me and my wife from playing we both run thorw the same net and routor

So just to get you straight? this game has 24 classes and you want to to so that your basically forced to play 1 character? Or have just 2 characters
wtf is this ****

This thread isn't going anywhere.
The only solution is incentivizing players to keep playing even losing.

It's been mentioned before, give the people that log one side on a consistent basis a visual appearance item. Give it to the player's account after say 30 days of logging in and put a timer on it, maybe 45 days or so. I suggested back banners if possible for appearance capes. There are many threads with several decent solutions.

Why not implement a system that restricts swapping factions for an hour after participating in RVR on either side?
You get to keep your Order/Destro characters you are leveling, but you make it fair by restricting faction changing.
