Incentivizing Realm Pride

why i would to have a booster if i have for ex 6 toons at 30rr? why i would have AAO when my toon is 26/30rr and i have all the gear i want on it? you cant do nothing to fix people mentality. players are the problem,not the system. deal with it.

If you have all the gear you want and already 26/30, you won't be following the zerg or taking empty keeps. You will probably just do SCs or look for good fights, trying to have fun. Unless you are just farming medallions from keeps, which is another reason why RvR sets should be sold for gold and not emblems.

Who cares? mostly of those 26/30 will roll and alt and start the zerging again to grind and farm all their gear. This is a bucle and it wont change. MMO players are lame, and all you can do to calm em is to give em some free stuff to "balance" the game. Check this thread,people is already begging for stuff, for nothing! loyalty,they said. Realm pride didn't magically appear out of thin air. Not even on live.

The magic old server had came from players forging strong guild bonds, alliances and working together. Locking zones wasn't a 15 min buisiness.

These bonds were the building blocks of realm pride. Players like NItro existed as they were needed.

As campaign became waithammer and stuff like keep claims etc were lost pride was lost. Alliances and guilds was reduced to chats and had no real function.

Ohhh Yassss!! The old alliances... Guild X is preparing Praag while Y is holding off at Eataine... Such memories, those were the golden times. It didn't matter the zerg, we would always fight. The rivalry between Order and Destro was so nice, people would never join the other side!

If you have to reward "realm pride", by throwing free stuff at people, it isn't really pride but another carrot on a stick instead of genuine feeling of representing a faction. Also, I have a decent number of alts that I play on and off. If there was a system that punished me for that, I would probably quit or roll with two accounts.

Free stuff is more tempting than some "realm pride" that never existed. Same thing happened live, same thing happened here. Stop your tears.

No one is punishing you. You are not getting penalties for having characters on both factions. You simply gain bonuses for getting to max RR on several characters from the same faction. Stop crying "im being punished".

Which will stop cross realm and build up "ream pride" as well as locking accounts to only one faction. Let's stop people from taking the path of least resistance by jumping to the other side, by giving out something useless. Brilliant.
