Who's the strongest DPS tank class?

How you can compare numbers, if not hitting same geared and ranked targets? What you can do is a just for fun damage contest.

We can compare consistency. If he gets 800 crits once in a blue moon, and i happen to get several of those tonight with DYG, then i will be inclined to say BOs do more DPs currently.

I guess you cannot beat IB Earthshatter at 100 grudges with Down ya go atm

I just checked and you are correct. Earthshatter seems to hit really hard AND it is AoE. Dayum...

Ok, so bring in the deeps! Post your highest damage numbers per ability if you'd like to compare....

Be realistic of course, analyze vs equally geared targets, not a level 1.

Op, you know why you shouldn't ask that sort of question on Warhammer online ? Because most players here are just blind. You can demonstrate to them live that you can do equally if not better than them, they will always say that you're doing ****. It's just how it works.
I've seen many people here telling "chosen aura, aoe, blabla" ...
No, the damages on the score board don't come from it at all. Gosh, saying a chosen do their dps via "aoe" is just as silly as saying that WH and WE are an distant-aoe class.

OH ffs stop telling that you're just plainly wrong. Play a chosen for once and learn to use their f*****g abilities before theorising over something most of you didn't even used once in your life.

And most of you just took word from someone else on live, or even on this server, who probably either didn't know hell about it, or was too bad to properly do the job while trying to play a dps tank.

And stop arguing about if a tank or a heal can dps or not, it all depends on the situation, same way for every role in this game. They have a spec for that, use it, understand it, and take what they can bring to your group/guild/wb before dismissing them as "useless", wich they are absolutely not.

Learn to play them.

if I see zealot bombing with sorcs its ok. no matter what other posts - zealot with corp debuff tactic+CA is pretty nice addition to bomb grp.

when I see zealot is bombing even when we lack healers like hell - sry but it isnt ok but whatever

same for dps tanks. I can never argue about BO going crazy choppa style with 2h and FO if there is actually enough healers or tanks or enemy is spawn camped hard. but when u try to heal that BO only to see he explode faster than sorc at 100 mechanic....its kinda wierd....

The only tank I can think of who can pose threat similar to MDPS is IB. But he'd be really squishy and would die too easily.

not really ib has grumble and mutter ive seen 2h ibs be able to fight 2-3 people in a row on live cause of that ability

chosens have bloody hard time to stack WS thanks to their gear was moved from WS to ini

IB can reach nice WS, can armor debuff their foes, their snare + cave in + massive blow dots deal nice dmg with addition to 50% AA haste + earthatter for burst that can wreak squishies way waster than chosen ravage spam. I think chosen deals higher dmg vs. tanks. that might be true

Then if your target hasn't a lot of armor like a BW or AM and high spirit res then just start mashing them with cleave.

Cleave drains ap very quickly and chosen don't get thier ap regen per aura tactic till much later
