It's not the most important issue, but... 5-minute level 36+ potions are being used for the most part as a way to scam people out of gold on the AH. Perhaps something could be done to the crafting scaling to avoid this grief. 30 min minimum or something idk. I don't think 5 min post should even exist in the game tbh. It's an archaic design.
Could you let me know how you feel most people are falling for this?
We saw the same issue last year and also agreed we didn't want people to get tricked by it, so we changed the name of the 5 minute items so that searching "Lasting Stanchion" etc would only show the longer versions. Is there another common filter or search people are using that's still making the 5 minute versions show up in the results?
Personally I just remember that armor potions are unguent, so i search for that, so thats how I personally got scammed, I also play alot of alts so unguent is the only name i can go by when trying to find lower level potions for example, and i have to search through a lot of these spam pots.

Good point, and I agree. If there is an issue with some members of the player-base using five minute pots to intentionally scam (or at least frak with) other members of the player-base, then delete their tool. Five minute pots serve no useful purpose anyway.

As a seller, that has been strong demand for this potion and I will continue to sell them to meet that demand.

I think the biggest issue is not the creation or selling, but people are using the potion to prey on players with the default AH ui. Its so bad.
The pot name has been changed, I think some fleeting pots like aversion are very useful and it would ruin markets by forcing everything to use an extender.
If anything make fleeting pots last 20mins so they're still usable. If anything this will make them almost better, cheaper, and more new player friendly.
I think the bigger underlying issues is armor is too good where the potion feels mandatory so when new players get forced into buying them they're getting "scammed" cause they're unsure what they're looking for.
