Differences between class mirrors?

What it boils down to is each mirror usually does some spec or role better than its counterpart. But how that role/spec fits into the meta ultimately decides how people view the classes.

Take for instance knight and chosen

Chosen DPS blows knight out of the water, it even has 2 different dps specs one focusing on spirit damage and the other on physical, with the former being a lot more efficent and popular. However the knight has much better group buffs and is much tankier.

Tanks in this meta get taken into 6 man for their ability to buff the group, gaurd, stay alive, and while damage is important it's not a priority.

So even tho chosen has a much better kit for dealing damage, people will always say knight is better.

That's a bit a generalization I am sure, but similar things pop up like DoK being the better melee healer/DPS compared to WP. But because DPS DoK/WP is hardly "meta" that isn't considered any kind of real advantage over the WP.

They can make a big difference but not always. IB knockdown doesn't require shield BG's does. WH has repel blasphemy 7 sec 100% parry WE has nothing similar at all.

And Destro probably has some other advantages. It's not as one sided as you make it sound.

How about massive wounds debuff on marauder. If it crits you start 1509 hp down. Savin me hide. We crit boost per accusation or whatever they are called. Runaway tactics on goblins. Choking fury. Unable to detaunt a character..

All destro mdps get a inc heal debuff.. not all order does. Deestro pull better. Mar cc isn't dependent on cat.

Who the hell specs RB on a WH? Lol and wracking pains, taste for blood, masterful trechary just for starters are all good abilities WEs have that WHs do not. But since we are bringing up extremely rarely used duel spec abilities WE has swift pursuit and an RKD that allow dueling ranged to be much easier.

when classes have burst to take down 90% of things around,

like bw/sorc and wh/we, it dosent matter which of the classes make more damage, but does which one deliver it better.

in the case of bw/sorc, bw deliver better the damage due to kd when ST or with undefitable fireballs
