Of course not, no one warm you. Each and every preamde now will stay inside keep and will farm ppl that attack their walls, and know what? they will have to do that cos THAT'S ONLY ONE ZONE OPEN AT TIME.
You wanted avoid the zerg
and now there will be more zerg instead, you wanted to avoid keep pve or trade and
know there will be no keep take.
Unless 1 side totaly overhelm the other there will be no way to take 1 keep.
This is what it shouldn't happen; changes aim should had been force ppl to fight vs equal number not this.
-3 zone open
-renow/exp/influence debuff based on aao
-timer lock
3 easy step to force ppl to not zerg, try lock zone, fight vs equal numbers

Love how people havent even tried RvR for an hour and they already know everything about the new patch.

no need to try anything, ppl done this alredy on officials in t4 when it was necessary to take 1 zone keep, mean if you need 1 keep (and now there will be only 1 keep at time in ONE ENTIRE TIER so all ppl will go there).
this will even be more bad, all ppl will :
1-rush keep as pre 1.4.0 to avoid resistence
2- if too much zerg--> sc /unlog
3-die like idiots giving 2x emp/renow, whatever number there are write on patch note, i dont really care to read and also blue and purple drops. And then subsequentialy unlog
This is the perfect patch for the premade they will farm and get even more advantage against ppl with few times
Oh yea this also encourage more ppl to cross realm to the stronger faction well done.

This, its an alpha. The great thing is the devs can do things you wouldn't be able to try on a live server because you risk losing people, and we are technically testers.
If the changes to zone locks/opening are seen as bad after a week or so of playing (testing) they can just change it back or come up with something else.
Nothing is set in stone.
I was rooting for this to happen because the population of the server isn't exactly that high, and splitting it between 2 zones makes it worse. And people will avoid fighting if it means more XP/RR/Inf etc...

If the changes are bad, Aza can just roll back (maybe?) and i wont give any more suggestions on RvR. Hope this makes haters happy.

Guess you missed the part about having to own bos to attack the keep. And 3 of them at that. Man if someone took the BOs while the zerg was at the keep that would suck. Sounds like something premades would do to lure portions of the zerg away from keep. This patch promotes both small scale and large scale rvr. It forces all rvr into one lake where the population will be great and provide fights of all sizes across the map. I too will take blame for this. It's better than crappy pop we have had since the last patch.
