I would like to read a statement from the developers about their view on blobbing. Apparently, it is important to deprive weaker enemies of the opportunity to escape a hopeless fight so that they can be hunted and killed over half the map. I would just like to know why and to what extent it fits into the game philosophy of the developers.
From the last balancing statement, I learned that different ways of playing the game should be encouraged. I don't see that reflected in this decision.
I think there should be other tactic options for weaker enemies besides getting killed.
I would be interested to know what other option the developers have in mind for this kind of situation.
It may be that the Warreport was not intended for this use. But I would find an item with these abilities important in the game. I would also buy it against War-Crests.

Addendum:
I think its ok that WH and WE cannot do it from within the stealth.

yeah whatever, i dont mind soloer, im soloing myself sometimes, as u said u can learn a lot and most important of all u can have fun too, whats really bothering is not soloer, its soloer complaining on forum or wherever and wanting thing like instant port to dodge players who actually play the game as it intended. its not about "forcing", its just the way the game as to be played, i mean if i play any FPS game and i want to only use knife i cant complain about being headshot halfway to my knife charge, i have a rifle and everything to compete but its my choice to play knife, well soloing in warhammer its the exact same, u all have all the tools to play the game grouped as its intended but u choose not to and prefer solo, thats valid do whatever make u have fun but u cant complain about not being able to instant port and dodge or compete with player who played grouped thats all.

It was long overdue to put a cast time on it.

It's intended purpose is to bring people to the action not a get out of jail card.

Why are people crying?
YOU decided to engage in a fight.
If you did get catched that's your fault.
Get surprised by Enemy Warband, 6 man, your solo roaming nenemis? Your fault, why are you where you are?
Why should you be rewarded for messing up your macro gameplay???
What about the people that put in the time to learn map movement and manage to catch you? Why should they be punished for it? It's pretty unfair to surprise an enemy and than see 70% of them instantly vanishing into the nether, while cleaning up the rest, that's not even capable of pressing war report on time?

So let me get this straight...

WEs/WHs disappearing every minute is no problem, even while in combat and everybody else disappearing once every 20minutues with wr while being out of combat is?

*sigh*

The WR was no issue at all. You have to be out of combat. People are attacking you from 100+ft away. It was hard enough to use it and far from a guaranteed escape. Especially on that 20min timer.

It's yet again the middle finger for solos and small groups. Once again, after not allowing to finish live event scenarios with discordant mode...

I really don't get your decission making. The game would be much better with more solos, pugs and small groups running around. That blobbing and premade wb meta is just awful.

You should start thinking about how to break up that meta e.g. by limiting warbands to 12 players to get rid of these roaming veterans wbs taking the fun of all others for hours instead of changing things to make it worse for everybody else and feeding them more.

Increase render distance to solve these issues. Entire warbands should not pop into existence so close to you that you have 1 second to react or they will get you.

I agree.

On the issue at hand. I always saw the War Report as little more than a means for players to quickly move from one zone to another when applicable. That it could also be used as an occasional escape tool was a bonus feature. It was fine as implemented. In regard to the change I also agree it was unnecessary.

Roaming Warbands have been a staple of the game ever since ever. What has impacted that Meta is the size of the player-base. You want more small-scale groups running around, you need more people.

Can someone clarify the current implementation of War Report? I've not been playing lately. Is it a five second stationary cast, or is it usable while moving?
