Just open skillbuilder and compare every spec of SW to other dps. Then open SH and check how many panic buttons they have comoared to SW. Then u will realize why its trash.

to the guy saying that "squishy" targets get hit for 3.4k-5k i call bullshit, 3.4k maybe doable on a lvl20 with green items from lvl 2, anything more than that very hard.

on guarded dps and good healers, you cannot even crit for over 2k.

P.S. and btw crit is less than 50% which means most of times you dont crit, it's not like it's guaranteed you'll crit otoh if you get crited every time by fester, maybe you should reduce your ctbc?

So dps I prof is fine. Some1 cry about crit of SW and too is fine. Now mobility is bad ?

Dude has no clue getting focussed by 1 BW and 1 SW is "proof" its fine with no guard, no detaunt, no dmg reduction. According to him 600dps if you always crit is "good".

Well as a complete package it feels quite underwhelming tbh.

Scout: Underperforms compared to other ranged singletarget classes, e.g the other similar bow class(squig herder) have better mobility/utility and thus has a clear purpose as solo roamer/6 man roamer.

Assault: Has a niche purpose as solo roaming but is not a functional melee spec in groups, no access to aoe damage (Sweeping slash is a bad joke, unfortunately) which dooms it.

Skirmish: too little damage and range, needed for the longest time a solid 20% increase to both but instead was crippled further by the nerfed broadhead arrows, final nail in the coffin unfortunately.

Players will keep rolling them( especially new ones or players bored with mains and looking for a challenge) due to the popular elven bow character class fantasy but it is clearly deserving of the title worst dps class in the game(as a complete package). It wouldn't take that much to fix them but seems devs have stopped with class balance.
