Can we quickly get a patch out to keep at least two zones open even if different Factions each lock a pairing? Lazy peon plus double xp weekend, 1200 playing paddy cake in Praag for 12 hours is no bueno..

Yeah this is good suggestion. At least monitor the situation and react if necessary. Last time RoR staff reacted fast with the population cap which was great. Big zerg vs zerg fight might be cool experience but gets old quickly. Praag is not even bad zone for big population but if that happens in say Kadrin Valley where there is basically only 2 lanes, both realms will eventually feel like they are stuck in some kind of 12 hour mexican standoff which might not be great. So for the long term its better if players have options to go other zones (as long as theres enough population to support that).

Hopefully new player experience will be great for newcomers and experienced players refrain obnoxious shenanigans such as making tryhard premades in low tiers to farm new players.

Before peon 2 days ago pop was 190 at this time of day now its almost 400 shout out to him giving this server 2 videos which did wonders

I second the comments from Strakar and Hugatsaga.

Modifying the oRvR system so that there's always a minimum of two zones open would be a very welcome change in any case, but especially now with an influx of new players it's definitely needed. I believe it will significantly improve the RvR experience for old and new players alike.

Need more NA players!

Snipped the rest. But yes, we will be monitoring the state of the game should we receive the influx similar to last time. We aren't going to push large changes to the process prior however.

Although now that I think of this again, changing this in a way that at least 2 zones are open might be something to consider anyway: When population is low during off-hours, players go to only populated zone anyway but when population is high, another zone opens up ways to play away from the zerg and potentially end the stalemate. As far as I know, only single zone being open is remnant from the time when cities were directly connected to campaign. So when one realm captured one fort and another captured another, only 1 pairing would remain open until last fort would be captured (followed by city siege) or some pairing would reset due timer. So the underlying reason for only one open zone is gone but mechanic still remains in play.
