So... what exactly is the system yall are advocating? Even numbers. How do you enforce that? What level of outnumbering is allowed? How do you hande players leaving? How many can enter at a time, before the other side is allowed to "catch up"? How long should the "prep" period last? How do you handle the players that want to participate, but cant cause the other side refuses to play? Will having equal numbers matter if one side has more organized groups? What, exactly, would such a change accomplish? Why do you feel equal numbers should be enforced in such a wide open zone, when YOU the OP, have already shown a propensity to "zerg"? Ie you run with 3 WBs. You don't ensure the enemy has even numbers when you engage, why should the entire zone pop matter?
All this **** whining, and no one will run the thought experiment out a bit...
You want a change? A system? Plan it out. Think about the pitfalls, and how to alleviate them. Or keep measuring your epeen. That's definitely gonna help...
There is already a queue in place. Wouldn't be that hard to make it even. Yeah, when one side has more queuers then some wouldnt get in. Just leave the resources for those that couldn't get in so they have better chances next time.
All in all it's just a big SC and the same rules should be applied. Even numbers, quitters get filled up. If there are no people to fill up then it's bad luck but some of the other side might also leave to even it out again.
Not rocket science, right?
When you have 20% more players (roughly two extra wbs) then of course winning is easier. Dead people can just release and come back within minutes. That makes it even harder for the underdog to win a fight.
Again, when one side keeps winning just because of population then people will just log over to that side during LOTD.
It has to be even, there is no doubt about it.

At the moment, Necropolis of Zandri has 192 spots per side (
patch notes).
Maybe the numbers are too high for the current population and/or too many guilds boycott this game mode for valid reasons.
If you want fair fight, with equals numbers, you can still queue for cities, a game mode that Bene Tleilax has been dodging for a while now.

This has any connection to the topic? Don't be silly.
Scenarios, ranked, city - you win or you lose, and it actually is about the "learn to play".
Being outnumbered in LOTD (which in design is one big scenario) is another case.
Do you like to play scenario with 8 people against 12? I DON'T THINK SO!

Order lost most LOTD when both sides were at numbers cap.
Would Bene be interested in an organised 18v24?

But when is Bene Tlielax and the so called Grand Alliance of Order gonna "learn to play" tho ?
Its 2022 man just learn already.
You are outnumbered in lotd simply because order players rather push empty maps than take effort to form up and fight. In the beginning Lotd instances both sides were filling up to max capacity and Order was still losing. So they gave up and rather afk run box and hit keeplords for easy crests.
