Now I don’t know the first thing about SW builds and what is good or bad but if you want to flame me at least make sure you flame me for something I did rather than just being an arrogant **** jumping to conclusions.

Now if being able to do that kind of dmg with 2 abilities every 5 seconds during Vengeance with CD reduction up on Order side than I am somewhat lost for words and I dread to think what “burst” would be considered good on order

So.. as Fenryl i can 100% guarantee you i have never run Crosscut with FtW. Hope this puts the matter to rest for you.

i was vague on the name and might have just remebered the last SW that i came across, doesn't change the fact it happened lol. now being crit for 3k+ by cross cut wasn't something new as it happens routinely ( -6% chance t o be crit btw) the fact i was hit by another 1.3k FtW straight after by the same person is what led me to announce the new record of SW burst in alliance chat and which is why i do remeber it happening

Seeing as i farmed you in SC's last night with a SM I'd say you were thinking of me but just have no clue what you're talking about. My SW runs like 63% effective crit chance (including Crosscut) so your -6% doesn't really mean much. But you cannot take FtW and Crosscut without +2 Sov and you give up way too much to get it, so I would say you are very much mistaken.

But yea Crosscut should never have gotten a third strike as a buff.

Just look at the forums. How many threads are about Order classes being OP compared to Destro? Where is the bias at?

So since last sunday I have been playing an average 8-10 hours a day, the whole time in the SC TT to level alts, on my second alt to lvl 40, meaning I have encountered a low of SWs.

There is a big difference between balancing a class:
- and making this class competitive once again
- and buffing over the balancing limit, making a class completly broken

The fact that when either a mDPS or a tank class encounter a SW and that this ranged class doesn´t even try to kit, simply staying in melee range, getting hit while firing dots and other abilities, knowing that it will still win the fight should be enough proof that its dps needs some adjusting. Hopefully yesterdays patch will have adjusted it to an acceptable level.

We all want ranged SW to be viable in the game, as more competitive classes mean more variable team setupts in grouped competitive matches but there must be a minimum balance.

Yeah look I get it, I mixed up the names and it makes what I said look less credible, yet I know what I saw in my combat log.

As I said I do not know the first thing about SW and what they do or do not spec, but I can read my combat log.

I’m sure no one here will dispute that 3k+ hits from cross slash are the reality of this server.

I get it 4 crits in a Row might have been lucky, yes I didn’t have guard or detaunt before the KD, yes I do not put extra points into spirit resists and I sit at around 600 before debuffs.

Truth is there is so many SW+SM+WL combos running around now it’s not rly all that uncommon to get insta bursted anymore.

As to the low key flex: gratz for farming a solo pugging melee dok ?
