Forts in themselves are great imo, i enjoy them. Problem for me is they're rare, at least during EU prime.

Late US TZ with it's juicy 700 people online, super quick campaign zone locks and daily city farms (every day there is a city roughly 4am-7am EU time - evening in US TZ) will be loving forts right now.

EU players on the other hand haven't seen a fort in a week and a City in 2-3 weeks.

Ultimately the situation will fix itself when EU prime returns to 800 online and we get our share of the super easy low pop zone locks... But I personally want a system that encourages a high pop, returning to 800 online to fix the design doesn't feel right as the server will feel less alive for it.

I very much agree with everything poster above me said - forts and cities now happen mostly during the late NA/very early EU, which is pretty discouraging for the biggest part of the population.

It'll be fine in the end, when enough people leave the game again (especially with much of the world returning to narmality after *REDACTED*), but that is hardly a "solution" to this kind of a problem.

Additional option: place a stairwell along the outside wall between the maindoor and postern that leads to the third floor. This would cause the defenders to have to defend three points of entry, which would help.
