Return of Reckoning

Hello.

This project is up since 5 years. Last year we introduced X2 quest everywhere, meaning for the 4 first year of this projects, dozen of thousands of players have done the job to level their multiple characters following a way much more difficult than it is actually. Not saying it is easy or fast, but keep in mind this game a MMORPG.

Little Tips :

-Look carefully which RvR zones (.rvr) are open. Depending how many BO your faction control, you get +10%XP bonus per BO controled (it works on everything, including quests).
-Do quests. They are X2. All (RvR, SC, PvE).
-When 16 type .rvr and join a warband. Take kill quests (2 or 3 per warcamp).
-When defending keep, take defense quest (in lower tiers they are juicy)
-Rest in your Capital.
-Always look for mobs 3-4 lvl lower than you. Faster to kill and xp gain is not so different than same lvl mobs.
-Do visit quests, fast and easy XP gain.
-Always tag sc during PvE cession.
-X2 Events are deployed approximately every 2 months, and some event to increase periodicity are proposed on forum.
-Keep in mind tis game is a MMORPG.

While leveling can feel like a chore, it really isn't hard in any way. It is already generally easier than in other mmorpgs (both old and current).

We even have the benefit of the super bolstering as soon as you hit lvl 16, meaning you can start playing with the "big boys".

Back in the day it used to be easy to powerlevel someone from 1-35ish in a few hours. This was heavily nerfed. And while this ofcourse means that leveling new alts or leveling as a new player is slower, it also means that those players who actually ENJOY warhammer online will play for longer rather than have a full set of alts in a very short amount of time.

Long story short:
I do not agree with the OP. Leveling can be done in many ways. Some or faster than others. But by no means is it slow even for a new player compared to sibling mmorpgs.

Agreed that leveling isn't hard to 40 if you know what you are doing. Kill quests and epic weapons and the 2 lower level dungeons and beastlord give a bunch of xp. Much easier to do with a person or two to help.

With x2 xp people have gone 0-40 with 50+ rr in a week

However, I would support a once per account x2 xp/rr/influence potion for a period of time to jump start new accounts. Sometimes the x2 events don't coincide with life outside the game
