I have been using this for a while and I have the volume control but it just doesn't seem to work. I have turned it way down but it still blasts out super loud. I ran the game in admin mode and the addon as well. Any suggestions?
Otherwise this is fantastic!! I run aoe builds on my toons so it's really cool to get these kills to go so many times one after another lol.

Reworked this a littlebit, and put it up on idrinth.
https://tools.idrinth.de/addons/unrealdbannouncer/
1.1 (2025-12-26)
----------------
- Added scenario pop, fortress reservation, and LotD ticket alerts with toggles.
- Added optional defeat alert on player death (default OFF).
- Added `/udba` commands for listing keywords, playing sounds, and managing alert toggles/status (requires LibSlash).
- AutoIt helper now resolves paths from the addon folder and special-cases scenario pops (notify + window flash).
- Added `SOUND_FILES.txt` documentation for shipped WAVs.

No worries - I’m just having fun with it. Really cool to see other people tinkering too.
If anyone wants to dig in, there’s lots of older addon code to get inspired by on idrinth’s site:
https://tools.idrinth.de/addons (RoR’s Lua is a bit… eccentric, so good to look at "working" code.

), and xyeppp has a very handy extracted view of the RoR interface here:
