Would be interesting to see this.
If devs will get behind such competition I would propose to temporarily add duel manager on spot, so not only cross faction 1v1 can happen.

That would be nice as one big issue I can see happening with my idea is if one faction just destroys the other and we have multiple people left and all from same side.

Guess you will have to go with the honor system for no respec. However you know someone will show in a cheese build and say " This is my rvr spec lol". Also DPS healers will win most fights just saying.

The process will be will be if you do happen to arrive then realize you are in incorrect spec I will allow people to go at that time BEFORE the tourney starts for last min changes / buy pots whatever. But when Tourney starts.. no, No " I need to leave for 2 min" what you have in pots and spec is what you have.

I realize these rules are not to everyone's preference. the reason for those that care why I think these rules are best is to make the tourney as realistic as possible in a setup stage. Example is when I roam, I have no idea who I may face around a corner, I dont get to change my spec depending on who I'm fighting. Also in that environment, people use pots , ALL the time, so Im allowing it here even tho generally in setup duels, pots are not allowed.

Please dont think of this as traditional duels, think of this as RoR Mortal Kombat.

If Slayers for example are able to change spec every other fight because they know who they are fighting, the community will say its rampage if vs mdps. However in this case, again if a Slayer arrives with rampage as a toolset, will find vs non mdps in a 1v1 setting just about worthless and then no argument could be made. Same for Monstro Mara's and claims of them cheesing it vs mdps or 10000x claims people make about all classes.

At the moment with me we have 4 fighters. 1 Sham, 1 BO and 2 Slayers. if we dont get at least 20 people ( 10 each side ) I dont see this as being worth the effort and fun to setup.
