u srsly think (tank with dps build = 4 auto parry, - 1200 HP debuff ,-20% AS debuff,+50% AS buff)
(absorbation from Shield of rage+ heal from feeding on weakness) Can`t deal with tanks and melee better than any of (magic SMs?) sm needs 3 tactic dots to deal 150dps Per each sec with -400 spirit rez from his 2 skills debuff, BG deal 900 DoT over 10 sec, after parry (blade of ruin,this where we can do auto-parry skill like it was created for this (with debuffs -75 tough+-800 armor our Dot will be not weaker than (3 Dots of Sm) (only cons of dat build we lost most Powerful Knokdown in game 5 sec ( with shield only) (where iron-breaker has knokdown with shield and with two-handers ( but they didnt have second heal skill like Bg) Ho ho ho( sob-sob BTW Ib absorb skill work Only On MAGIC-but ours 10 sec long-10 sec Cd and work aganst physic)... But if love pure tank Bg -Okay why not like dat

Trouble i see in ur glorification of the class is that u dont take into account that all the "specials" u name of the BG could be countered, by contrast ur supposed "bad skills" in the SM were 100% unavoidable.

In other words: if a BG fought other tank, they found themselves outclassed due to their main abilities being countered IN COOLDOWN, but also by many MDPSs like a decently geared WH specced in DoTs, while a SM would most likely fought to a stand-still anything they couldnt fight like a war-of-attrition.

You are right. But if any -Any Sm ill be dps (nither of build or task) with great sword,would be easier
just play dps classes wl-wh-slayer OR even crazy skilled SWmelee couz i saw SM with shield only in my dreams 1 of 11 Sms)))though truth to be told they (even start-game with 2-hender and called SWORD-MASTERS)
all almost forgot they were tanks with focus on survival or at last last longer than ur opponent.
