Yep, I regenerated links via external service (gdriveurl.com) after you dropped your message.

Edit: I hope the links are permanent now.

Just upload them to imgur or a private facebook album(with the pic url you can still show it afaik) if you are afraid of them getting removed over some time

Ah, thanks, noise. The workaround with the Facebook album did not hit me.

As for imgur, I'm rather stubborn and if I'm an active user of some cloud service (i.e. Google Drive), I want to utilize its possibilities and I don't want to have my files on multiple websites / cloud services. So I dug deeper and tried to solve the mystery of G-Drive permalinks and I've found some properties of G-Drive and its API rather ridiculous. For example you can generate permalinks to open files easily but you cannot use these links to display the images on website. For this purpose you have to generate "view" links which are just temporary...
