Revenge! needs the pet to be killed, and it's not possible to summon the pet while Loner is slotted.
In patchnote say, if you try to summon it will be dismiss ......so who know if ppl could try
I just tried, I slotted Loner and Revenge!, and no sign of any Revenge! buff. So I guess it's cool.

Fresh Feedback:
I played my Loner WL for a few hours in open WB. While the additional mobility is not something to puke at, not having access to the burst of Coordinated Strike (it only hits once if the pet is not summoned) and of Pack synergy (+50 % crit damage if the pet is on) is a huge bummer. Not having access to the pull, KD, silence or additional DPS from pet is ok imo if someone (like me) really want to play loner.
Edit: actually, the absence of the +50% crit damage bonus is not that bad if you play with flanking and primal fury.

I always found the pet to be so very lore breaking. Loner allows folks to roleplay a true WL I guess.

Its a buff to loner for sure, but having a pet is still the superior spec i believe.

you know what they say, 2 WLs aiming for same target - hits like a truck that ran over you
the banner is atrocious though
