The success of RVR zones locking at present is now entirely based on whether or not the keep lord won't bug and continually reset. But apparently according to devs this is working as intended so i have no idea what the solution is, there is a local wishing well that i live near by, i shall toss a few coins in for the sake of the server.

Well yesterday EU Prime Shadowlands was pretty unplayable Lag wise. We saw TUP, well I saw them, some other Dwarfs didn't even saw them for a frame and then half the warband was dead the next moment. So CNTK, BT and Diogenes moved to Barak Varr and Troll country.

Strangely I got a massive FPS drop when standing to the Destro keep in Troll Country, Mandreds Hold at that point. One Order Warband inside, one on the outside, almost no Destro in the zone. So it doesn't seem to be connected with enemy positions.

I don't know if this was a server wide fps drop or one that was generated from Keep or Lord.

Noticed same in empty Destro keep in CW, 2 order wbs doing usual pvekeep stuff, horrible lags with no enemy presence collision, purely from 30 people standing in presence of keep lord. Not sure if its just keep related, but any case where you have 30-40 people standing close or doing combat, you start feeling the lag coming.
Could be some weird abilityVFX/buff/proc/moralgain thing, but something keeps dragging performance down. Last year 100v100 was slightly laggy, these days 50v50 is barely playable.

I think it might be related to amount of new contribution calculations thats alot of data, thats making lag issues

That and the twiks with keep lord might be contributing to lagyness. Up untill those changes no lag at all even with 3+ wbs going at each other

It really is that simple, why I have no clue why you are crying.

Pretty much that.
So as we have two incidents with empty zones and Keep Lord nearby we should get the info to a dev. :)

this.
1. massfights lag / start to become turn based fps diashows.
2. game always slowed down because of collected cache data in the client I guess, but nowadays it's way faster slowed down than before
3. target keeplord = - 90% fps for me, running a 3750k oc'd, 32GB RAM, 1060 OC'd by MSI.; target keeplord for more than 5 minutes in an ok populated zone = crash to desktop, happens on all my toons, on BO way faster, I like to blame skullthumper, but that's only a catalysator, not the real reason (I believe).

I think the current issue of gaggles of solo roaming WLs winning pretty much every one on one fight is forcing a lot of Destro into warbands only making the zerging worse. On live I spent about half my time running around solo as a Magus, Chosen, Mara and dps Zealot. The biggest threats then were WHs and dps AMs. You could learn to deal with WHs and frequently win, enough that it didn't deter you from soloing. Dps AMs you just learned to run away from them and you could get away. The current incarnation of WL is unbeatable for most classes and it is effectively impossible to get away. So net result is fewer Destro solo roaming with the only option to follow the zerg or make a 6 man. Zerg on zerg fights get boring after a while and your average player may only have a few people they enjoy running a 6 man with.

If the game is balanced well at a smaller scale that should also translate to a balanced game on a grander scale, but there has been this obsession since live to only look at warband on warband fights for balance when half the players would rather not be with the zerg.

After this (amazing) comment it's time to lock this thread to prevent further madness.
