Dit this with chosen/bo/choppa/magus/2xzealot
As Zealot i had to find the correct combination between cleanse, which costs a lot of ap with Tactic and grpheal for ap-reg but then it worked fine.

Since most groups I try to done it consist low lvled and undergeared chars I am planning to try to do it with 3 healers, 2 rdps ans solo tank. On paper seems doable

all you need to kill domina is... to use the brain and don't simply mash buttons...
the party composition I killed domina with the first time (did it 2 more time to help some friends)
WE (barely lvl 40 still under RR30 at the time so mix of ruin-devastator... that was me)
Mara (barely lvl 40 too in annihi-beastlord)
SH (mix annhi-ruin)
BO (full ruin)
Zelot (mix ruin-beast)
Shaman (this wan was quite geared with a mix of Annih-conq-beastlor)
1 tank + 2 melee... no AoE cleanse and shaman that is unable to cleanse... and still done at the third try...
on the other hand when I went to help a friend we wiped 6 times with double DoK and a single MDPS (my WE that by the time was rr45 with r39 wepon/dwarf RvR influ weapon, 2 Annhi, 5 Beast, 2 Conq...)
The 2 dok simply kept the tank as their target... except the tank managed to block the DoT on application so he didn't get the debuff while me and one RDPS that stayed too close (despite several raccomnadation to stay away) took the debuff... but the 2 dok just looked at their cleanse that stayed grey (since their target.. the tank... had no debuff) and just continued healing over and over... until they ended up short of essence and we wpied... again and again... all that was need was to take a look at the group UI and notice that other than the tank me and the RDPS were under the dot... but it seem they found it too difficult ^^'

Done it with most pug friendly setup.
3 healers /rp, rp, AM/
2 rdps /dps AM, SW/
1 tank /kotbs/
so no need for wp, prolly one of the rps could be changed for rdps but with 3 healers is most easiest way to do it, there is just no room for mistakes

Heard rumours about not using dots on boss. Is it true or false?

There is no special mechanic on boss that recognize dots. Love them tinfoil theories.

Think it's more into the strategy vs bosses that heal on inc damage through an enchant/blessing/debuff on group that it's easier as a dps to stop attacking so your group member in charge of removing/cleansing (if they are a little slower on the reaction) has some wiggle room and your dots don't keep healing it.

They don't do that either.
