PvP on every level - sc, duels, skirmish, WBs vs WBs massive battles,
Landspaces - I still think RoR with some little tweaks (Shaders of SweetFx or Reshade) is most beautiful game MMORPG released, and I played most of them (still want to try Black Desert tho)
Epicness of Lore.
Community (who remember dramas on old Warhammer Alliance forum or Bioware/WAR?:-))

There are other games that offer better combat mechanics, or better graphics, etc. But what IS hard to find is a good combination of everything.

- An MMO RPG that isnt dependent upon "raid times" for gear.
- where you can earn gear by simply PVPing.
- whose sole focus is PVP.
- that has a focus on group based combat systems.
- with awesome looking characters
- with heavily coordinated group play (primarily in SCs)

I am frankly not as much a fan of the "zerg RVR" mentality where it seems less about how you build your character, and less about "timing key abilities, etc" and more about when/where to move and use AOE. Not trying to bash RVR but they are totally different types of PVP (to me) and if I wanted to play mass scale battles, Id probably still be in ESO.

Anyways I really like what I listed above, and really hope the DEVs reconsider the "SCs are a mini game" mindset... Because if they removed SCs, Id stop playing ROR.

This game is special for me because you play as group not solo/alone. You need others help and they your.
pvp (RvR and SC) open warbands (Ocara & Gdy)

1. The community - Everyone sort of knows each other and learns about each others playstyle, including when to not even bother fighting cause you got no chance

2. Potential - Developers have access to alot of thing Mythic never used in the final game such as character assets, can create events, new features and skills. 'Arguably' more open to player feedback.

3. Artstyle is great and a good believable aesthetic. Not over the top with fairy wings and UGUU~ characters like GW2 became. You can tell what classes you are fighting even at a distance. This boasts excellent art direction and design.

4. RvR - best pvp, hands down, no other game has done or will ever do it better. Camelot Unchained I dont see releasing for a long long time, their custom engine looks older than WAR despite being modern

Imbibing in adult beverages while playing, resulting with in-discord crap talking and in-game crap talking, all the while being in a good premade that carries my wasted arse!

...then order-types find me at a later time solo and sober, resulting in multitudes of deaths.

That's what I enjoy most.


I guess the correct answer though is:
