However im a big fan of warhammer universe so rly enjoyed some of questlines. Story quests were realy fun to a guy who play tabletop and pen and paper warhammer.

However i hated end game pve (lotd, lost vale,bb..etc.) i felt forced to do that :( Never liked idea of farming pve content do be competitive in pvp.

Also i can see what made u to start this topic Penril :P

I've never been good at PVP. I've loved individual PVP games for certain things (World of Tanks for simplicity and action, Planetside 2 for the epic scale and teamwork, Tribes for flying etc.) and consequently gotten ok at that kind of PVP.

But no matter how hard I try I really, really suck at this kind of PVP. Idk what you'd call it, executive reasoning, decision trees... having this rotation but in situation A having that rotation unless class X appears in which case apply curses 1 and 2 except if they have this particular miniscule nondescript box next to their name in which case use ability C all the while remembering to move and position and LOS and tab target the right things and guard and assist and not look at your keyboard or ability bar...

I could handle the knowledge, given enough time. But it's the speed of processing everything on top of the manual dexterity and APM that I don't think I'll ever reach. It stresses me out and is really not fun at all.

All of which is a longwinded way of saying that I'm a total scrub who doesn't really enjoy SCs, or being shouted at when we lose one, who finds healers very difficult to use, spend a lot of my time in-game farming or in PVP tend to stick to straightforward spammy classes like WEs, consequently shouldn't be relied upon BY ANY OF YOU FOR ANYTHING  (except maybe as bait) and in the original game I most enjoyed the large back and forth battles with less focus on individual skill and more on the objectives and the bigger picture - battles the scale of which we are yet to see here.

So, PVP. But with a fairly large 'but'.

If i interpret this statistic correctly, 100% of all WAR players are interested in WAR. :geek:

6 man pvp.

But old king kills were pretty awesome. Better than instance jumping city sieges.

Of course i do !
I am a PVP player at heart, thats what i mostly do in all games, not couinting console ones lol.
I did RR80 in WAR, PR90 in Rift ( those two are only pvp lvls ) and also played CS:S on semi professional lvl, both in Electronics Sports League and CPL and so on....now i log in from time to time just for scenarios... however when i leveled my character it was nice to read quest dialogues again, refresh the story and visit few places i would otherwise never go into...

Why is everything so black and white to you mate?
The fact we do favor one thing doesnt mean we need to throw other away or minimise it. I think that pve was very vital part of Warhammer. Its a very unique and characteristic universe, ive read some Warhammer books and still play tabletop and its rly cool to me to participate in some activities game offered just becouse of the lore. WAR without aspects other then RVR would be simply incomplete and against what games workshop is used to do when lending their ip.

I just dont understand you..lol or you dont understand me. Also the fact i allways play one character and u do 20 might be the reason...

It is kinda related. But still i never said anything bad about PvE, except that leveling (in RoR, not WAR) is boring (for me) because, since quest rewards dont work and several quests can't be completed (and you gain very little xp in scs), you are forced to grind mobs for the last few levels. Therefore, i don't understand why they had to make mobs harder now (be it by having more HPs or hitting harder). This should have been done after PQs, quests and rewards were fixed imho.

But that's a topic for a different thread.

This makes sense to me and i can agree with it. I took you were talking about general changes and goals for development... This also makes our whole conversation pointless lol.
