Something like that would be great for the role play and or aesthetics of this game.
A trophy or accessory or potion or something that you can buy from the vanity merchant in Altdorf/The Inevitable City that increases your characters size by 20%. You could even make four of them to choose from to better differentiate the heights of player characters, at 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%.
Another thought would be some kind of size scale option in the character creation menu or phenotype selector. The Empire for instance actually has two different Human phenotypes, there is another one that is larger with a bigger chest and brawnier arms that you see used for the various blacksmith npcs in the game world.
The Chosen and Marauders are already about 8' feet tall in ROR, which is how big many of them are supposed to be in Warhammer Fantasy, but they do vary from anywhere between 7' to 8'. Some kind of system where you could choose which of the four Chaos Gods you are marked by and that decides how big your Chosen or Marauder is, would be an idea. Slaanesh<Tzeentch<Nurgle<Khorne.
The High Elves and Dark Elves and Dwarves and Chosen/Marauders already look amazing in this game, but I digress, to me it is really just the Men of the Empire who all look small and weak in AOR/ROR. The average Man of the Empire should be a bit shorter but wider in the shoulders and heavier in the upper body than the average Elf.
The option to play a larger and much fatter Goblin like Grom the Paunch would be really cool as well.
Those are my thoughts, thank you.

I think that scaling with RR might be interesting -When you achieve rank of big boss, I agree this should extend for all Greenskins, as even a unit of Black Orcs will listen to a "generic" orc big boss, Black Orcs are also more focus on cooperation then infighting & squabbling (at least on the battlefield). I wounder if the RR tactics could be reworked for such a cosmetic/RP purpose.
It would be neat in theory to have a "Bad Moon" tactic allowing a Goblin to shrink ever slightly to be considered a Night Goblin. ( i can see the obvious problems of being smaller is an advantage though)
When it comes to Chaos, the sheer erratic nature of mutation means that there is no consistently tallest, Slaanesh may grant slender mutations, while Tzeentch could make its servants jointed and gaunt, Nurgle bloats up and grows in tremendous size, while Khorne favours just "making 'em bigger" muscle bound giants. The Northman stands above all other men but those gifted by the gods are incredible in stature, those granted boons, swell in stature, I could see a "Champion of the Gods" for a bit of a size buff for Chosen of RR 80.
For Specific Marks you could have fun, Mark of Nurgle changes aura animation ito the fly swarm and pestilent miasma. Mark of Khorne, disables the aura visual affects, your mere presence inspires those effects (fear/terror/etc.), where Mark of Slaanesh changes your character model entirely (see Praag WC :Champion of Slaanesh)

Making anyone but an ork a percentage size larger makes zero sense roleplay wise, and gameplay wise your character becomes harder to hide and easier to click target.
Make me a GM and I'll reward the top 3-5 BOs and Choppas with a small size bonus to recognize their place on the rankings.

It makes heaps of sense friend. For the Men of the Empire as an example, not every man is 5'9 exactly. Some men are average sized like that and others can be up to 6'6 in a realistic sense.
There are many examples of heroic heroes and lords of the Empire who are described as men of great stature and physique in the tradition of ye olde boxers and English strongmen and medieval warriors in general. Many of the most famous Knights and Warrior Priests of the Empire are described that way, and it makes sense because in battle being bigger and stronger is a massive advantage over your opponents.
I think the vanity item, or items at different percentages that you can buy and equip your character with is the best option and helps everyone. If someone likes his or her character being as small as possible then they don't have to buy one.

Both Warlord and Sov gear adds a lot to your volume, you really are huge, no one is mistaken you for a runt.
Wow, what's that cape item? I've seen some of the Greenskin Keep Lords have it, had no idea it was obtainable to players in live.

Would like to necro this.
I feel the black orcs are too small, I love the idea of rr progression pushing their size up and would be an awesome idea. But I seem to remember live having the same issue and we succeeded in getting black orcs larger. Surely there would be a way to just bump up the model size by even 5%? I mean we are black orcs after all, we take the hits so the rest don’t!
