The NA population was always smaller than the euro pop (and always will be for no other reason than lag), but it was still larger than it is now at one point. Some of those players left for reasons that can't/won't be addressed, but some left for reasons that have been fixed since then. We could get them back, but first we need to get their attention.
IMO it's worth a try. I know a lot of players capped out in t2 and left, some were frustrated by the bunny-hopping bug, and others were trying to PvE and much of it was (PQs) not working. All of these have been remedied. Maybe...

However, if the problem is that NA players feel hopelessly behind the EU players in terms of XP/Renown/Gear due to constant keep flips and massive fights then an incentive might help get more people on the field.
Bottom line is you won't know until you try it for a few weeks. Worst case scenario is some folks get a little bit extra xp/renown for a little while. It will not be the end of the world.

As a NA Player I agree that we should be the flexible player and not mess with the game.

I think before anything like this happens we will have to show effort to 'Make NA Great Again!' Lets get out there and Realm v Realm each other. wink wink nudge nudge.

Good fights tonight, took a few keeps. One thing they all had in common, low dessie defense numbers(they had AAO each time). Still, well done. Far better than previously.

I took a nap (ya, I'm old) and stayed up playing until 3:30 am PST on Saturday night/Sunday morning to see how the "other half" lives.
OMFG
I have not seen that many ORDER players in one huge swarm since LIVE. Praag was a sea of red names and insta-gibs (I was on my shammy).
I wish I could have stayed up later, but I was done. If NA player base was that huge, it would be AMAZEBALLZ.
We need to do something.

Think if we were to buff NA just on week days the weekend is fine except late Sundays. And it might not bring the pop back with NA players but eruos and east coast will stay up later.
