Really Jaycub because I remember clearly Old School used those tactics against us and we didn't cry improper etiquette. So when we did the same to you guys u guys cried improper etiquette on us. So u lets line up in front of each other and have no strategy to counter to the differences between destro and order? This makes great sense. This not pokemon and magic the card game line up ur cards (chars) in set line and start. WTF. I agree not capping the flag but when the timer starts its game on. That's a real 6 vs 6. we just need do this in a large open rvr lake with agreeable distance between both groups. Like it was done in live 6 vs 6 events and tournaments.

1. Let's not let this turn into a flaming match.
2. Ski, not the place for an xrealming debate.
3. Jaycub, don't insult a guild by calling them spastic, or assuming that everyone has to obey a set of rules in a semi random pop. I personally have never heard of having to wait to cap the flag till one side is "done". And I've been in plenty of CW pops.
4. Whomever sets up the event gets the make the rules. If you do t like the rules, then make your own event.

Let's save the animosity for the actual fight night.

Nothing I said was towards xrealming. Just calling out this etiquette they go by and letting everyone know wut is to be expected with rules and this so called proper etiquette. Dabbart read the TW group me. No one agrees standing close in front of each other in a line to start a 6 vs 6 match. All the pvp games I played when timer start it's game on bottom line.

I have 6v6'd against Old School several times, and never had a problem with the rules.

Spoiler:
Rayray literally set up that que with you guys, it wasn't a random pop.

You guys just came from our flank and destroyed our lowbie shaman before we even knew we were fighting. Then to BM us further you wouldnt even give us a 2nd fight.

Let make is clear there has multiple times que has been set and mara and WE came from behind mara pulling our AM. Sry it did happen. So we did the same thing that time and u cried about improper etiquette. Bottom line facts are facts. Guess wut we didn't cried we set up differently because that was going on with ur set up to que with u guys.

Great Thread. Great Ideas. If there is any misunderstanding about what happened in that 6v6 that you are referring to Ski, you should ask Auzzi about it. Was sending him tells that night, about not to cap flag and meet in the road so that we have more room to fight, and so that we have more time to fight. Maybe he didn't relay the message to the rest of your group. Either way, no harm done and I don't wanna derail the thread. I'm just looking forward to getting this event underway.

This whole thing doesn't have to be super serious either. Alot of us need practice and so it can just be for fun and for trying new strats while still trying to win. I think we are all mature enough to not make this an e-peen contest with disrespect flying around everywhere.

Guilds I would like to see participate (again, no pressure but these are the guilds I've seen more or less for months during NA times)

Legion of Boom
Old School
Dragons of Eternity + Friends
Train Wreck
Shadows of Divinity

The Damned
Exodus/Ginyu Force + friends
Black Library/Cut + friends
Fusion/Praedonius
DROW

Hope I'm not missing any but I'm sure I am. Everyone is welcome, even if you just want to come and sub in for groups.

As far as rules, Caledor Woods takes the least prep and you get the added benefit of seeing the scoreboard to see some aspects of performance :) . We can always discuss other places to fight too, there are definitely some cool spots that could be used. And as some others have said, any pots and renown seems fine to me.

We the only order guild going to be running? Since Old School and LOB running mainly destro now.

Why is the poll only Wednesdays and Fridays only?
Hey Ski, I picked Friday and Wednesday because that is when I know at least 2 guilds can make it. Secondly, the less options the better because it narrows down the choices and means the event can be up and running rather than digressing through multiple polls as each eliminates options.

No, you wont be the only order guild, as Simtex posted, LoB can play both sides and Old School, I believe will be best geared on order, however I am traveling back to Australia atm and they may get the destro side geared up this week, we will see.

Hey Storm, sounds like you need to return to t4 for good then :) Going to need to put some practice hours in after playing t1 all the time.

Its looking mighty like Friday 7pm Central. I am also pleased to see many responses from both the late night EU (LoB and Predonious + Fusion) and normal US guilds (The Dammed, the Black Library Alliance, Cult, Train Wreck and others). The poll will stay open for a few more days. Every response will be taken into consideration. Then come the weekend I will release a thread with the expected behavior.
I am Everywhere though ;p

Actually ive been putting in t4 time exclusively since the major rvr changes. It was just too boring to RvR before, and I didnt have access to a decent 6 man =(

Having Fun will always be important to me, while I can have fun and lose a match, I cannot have fun spending 2 hours gaining nothing lol If Im gonna gain nothing, id rather play in T1 where i can reroll without a care lol

But yes, my Chosen Tyr is ready if someone wants him. Otherwise If Shadows of Divinity will run, I can hopefully squeeze my slayer in.

Trying to bring back members from WHo's OP Now and Savvy, but your buddy Philcolins doesnt seem to be coming back

not to mention, his characters may have been wiped clean by now =(

Yeah... I somehow doubt DoE and friends can put up a group NA time. Its mostly me, sometimes Mkatew. I'd be happy to sub any guild that needs it though. I can IB/WP or RP on order, and if i stop slacking, I could dok or BG on destro.

Would be fun if it wasn't in CW though. I'd like to watch 6v6. It would feel more like an event. More convivial.
