Svarz - active and playing, not renown rank 1 so clearly has nothing to do with this exploit

https://www.returnofreckoning.com/armor ... Daniellita

Daniellita - Not playing his WH, however not renown rank 1 either so has nothing to do with this exploit.

If you want a better idea what they are doing then likely:

Sorry to dissapoint you, but nobody I play with including myself has abused this bug, anybody that used this to gain what is a huge advantage in pvp looses any ounce of respect they once had. In future before throwing out accusations read how you can spot those that were banned, hint: their renown gets reset to 1
curiosity is not a sin.

I'm pushing this purely for the sake of clarity. I don't much care for when specifically the wipe happens but if it hasn't been applied yet then the armory links people are posting in this thread as proof of their innocence are worthless.

A lot of people are jumping on the bandwagon of pinning every SC loss they had on the exploit and that's something to be avoided but if someone has been running around in the lakes with a 2m RD and full crit I think I would like to know.

Have the peoples chars been stripped of gear?

I mean, will they log back in naked? Or keep the RR dependent gear on?

I'm kinda with Viny, naming people who ask for pig mounts 1 too many times, but not when people cheat like ****, doesn't feel quite right.

I'd like to know solely so I can blacklist said people from my guild. It might be a bit extreme, but I'd rather not have the sort of player willing to abuse something like this in an organization I'm a part of y'know?

What part of...
Previous game breaking exploit mass punishments weren't publicly posted in the past. Therefore this will continue to be the case.
...don't you guys get?

I don't recall seeing names of players demanding pig mounts to be made public, only a public warning to stop asking for pig mounts to the community in general.

Well what's not helping here is that we agreed a while back that bans of 1 day or longer would be posted in the Bans forum. This was for transparency reasons and to protect GMs from malicious accusations.

Now, there's something I don't get here.

Why do people jump to protect players who were banned?

Why should I or anyone else give a crap about what the repercussions are for a banned player if the reason and duration of his ban is made public? Shouldn't that be something I should wish to encourage, as it offers a greater incentive for players to obey those rules which, if broken, would incur the universal wrath of the playerbase?

If it's good enough for the real life justice system, it's good enough for us. Name them. This "name and shame is bad" **** has to stop. Name and shame is bloody great, because it pillories people who deserve to be pilloried.
