Blurring shock, CW and WW aside there is not much time left to apply dazzling strike on a dependable frequency.

Re: WL worth it currently?
I'll try to round up some people on order to test SM+WL disorient stacking, I'll post here if I find out.Penril wrote:Unless they stack... That would be a 100% disorient on a single target. My group tested disorient stacking on Destro back in T3 and they all stacked (BWs were casting Fireballs in 6+ seconds lol); however it wasn't working as intended (they weren't supposed to stack) and got fixed a few days after we reported it. We never got to test Disorient stacking on Order though.Jaycub wrote:SM is a part of every good 6 man (sorry IB cucks :^)) so you get a 50% disorient from your SM making that tactic uneeded. Probably wouldn't even run it either way.
Add a CD increaser for extra lols.

Re: WL worth it currently?
Some more math because I'm bored and sure my last 2 posts where ****...
Going back to AA haste I think I neglected to factor in 50% AA hastes contribution to AA damage that strength would be gaining, and most importantly forgot to factor in crit for strength as well.
So going back to the 600 base damage 40% crit, the equation would be the same for the 1st part but when finding the str equivalent...
(X/5) + (X/10 x 1.33) = (DPS gained from using 50% AA haste) ,
X is what we are solving for, and that happens to be the strength equivalent of our AA haste tactic. We divide by 5 for the ability dps component, and by 10 for the auto attack damage component but also multiply the auto attack damage component by 1.33 to factor in 50% AA haste (which makes you attack 33% faster) and finally multiply by 1.4 to factor in crit.
600x1.4 to get average damage which is 840
(840/2.2) - (840/3.2) to get a difference of 120 which is our DPS gained from running 50% AA haste
(X/5) + (X/10 x 1.33) 1.4 = 120, and X ends up being 257 which is how much strength we would need to be equivalent to the 50% AA haste tactic.
For flanking....
Lets again say your spam ability like sundering chop does 600 base damage, which is realistic. Again with 40 crit that's 840 average damage. But here's where things get weird because crit and the damage bonus from flanking are treated as multiplicative modifiers of damage when you crit with flanking you deal 215% increased damage, rather than 200% increased damage and than 15% MORE damage from flanking.
An example
600 damage x 2.15 = 1290 damage (this is what the server currently uses)
(600 damage x 2) x 1.15 =1380 damage
This means on critical strikes flanking is effectively cut in half to 7.5% MORE damage
Since we have 40% crit this means 40% of our hits flanking is half effective, meaning overall flanking is an actual increase of 12% damage rather than 15%.
Now we can ignore crit (because the difference will be the same) and just multiply 600 by 1.12 and get 672 for and increase of 72 damage. With a 1.4 sec GCD that turns out to be 44 dps (72 -(72x1.4 -72)), but flanking also effects auto attacks using the example from 50% AA haste we have 600/2.2 or 273 dps multiplied by 1.12 we get 305 and a difference of 33. Adding these two values together we get 77 dps increase from flanking
(x/5) + (x/10 x 1.33) = 77 and we come up with 231 strength equivalent.
Remember this is assuming we are just using an ability that deals 600 damage, higher base damage abilities get more out of flanking but for the sake of finding some kind of standard I think 600 is pretty good for both a spammable attack and an auto attack.

So, according to your considerations so far, what's the best skill cycle?
