I find it funny. If this is a PVP only game. Why have PVE content then? Oh that's right because WHO was not a PVP only game. And neither is ROR. There's more to this game then PVP or RVR as it is called in this game. Just saying. And yes I RVR. And I fight a lot.

HAve you played the PVE in ROR? Or even live?

it was a DISTANT second to the pvp/rvr. Useful mainly for a change of pace or to fill downtime.

Tell me, how did you get the top tier armour on live?

PQs were fun. The rest is just fetch and kill quest padding. War would have been far better if they had built the pve just around pqs and moved players through them together.

pve on live was quite important till the first year or so. Just most ppl playing ror didnt played back then and dont know the pve days to farm instances, the struggle to fight the dps and tanks with right wards and so on. At the end mythic dumped the pve totally and made some mixture of pve and pvp like some stages of city invasion, lotd and scaven bosses. there is quite alot of pve, i wont miss it since i dont like it but to deny the existence of it just show ignorance

I played at launch, and I remember the PVE that was around. I'm still not sure how you could argue that PVE wasn't basically an after thought. There were 4 end game dungeons - and thats if you count BS as end game. 2 then dropped sent and LV dropping Dark promise. The only dungeon there that was really interesting was LV, and that got old quick when you ran it dozens of times and, due to pure bad luck and a terrible loot system, you still ended with nothing.

3 end game dungeons is not serious. And, (for many reasons - like the way drops worked) it just didnt work.

LotD addedsome extras, but there were still (with one exception) mini dungeons and as a change of pace - and even then the hook of the area was the fact that dungeon runs could be invaded.

I'm not denying the existance of PVE, I'm saying that it was for most of WAR's lifetime either ignored outright, or a nice distraction.

killing the enemy king, like most end game achievment, that punish the enemy realm by not allowing them to pve was full PVE experience....
Like making the purpose of all the pvp pve dungeon....

Killing the enemy king? Which required the locking of at least 4 zones and 2 forts to even get to city in the first place... is a full pve experience?

the lotd dungeons that had so little going for them that the only interesting aspect was that you MIGHT get invaded?

am I being unclear here?

But "MMO pvp" doesn't mean that you should run to enemy like headless chiken, die in few seconds and after cry about heals.
