When you are disarmed, staggered, knocked down, silenced you are basically rendered useless for a few seconds: THAT IS THE WHOLE POINT OF USING THEM, TO RENDER AN ENEMY USELESS.

Looks like the IQ is a rare stuff nowadays. Lets make it as easy as posibble for u then:

Disarm - usefull only on non-magic classes, the victim can still move and use the potions
Stagger - the victim cant do anything, duh!
Kd - the victim cant do anything, duh!
Silence - usefull only on magic users, the victim can move and use potions
Hold - the victim cannot move, but can use skills and potions
