I think they're working on them, not sure though.
Confirmation?

or.....
just bring unified currency then we can do scs and orvr, play the way we want and buy the sets that fit the playstyle we want to play
Case and point with this example: my chosen i want to play as a def tank guard bot
the best set for this deva but i only like to play SCs because atm orvr feels like 1 big zerg pve fest tbt
however if i want the deva set im forced to orvr
their can be other scenarios where some people would want duelist but only like to do orvr
this is why i feel unified currency is the best solution

I wouldn't mind unified currency, sounds good to me.

the answer is one currency that rule them all
but currently with sc's you could still do 150 kills quest and gain medallions while doing only pvp dont provide you option to get emblems so it is not so bad for sc' loving ppl
still i prefer one currency, no need to force ppl to do activities that they dont like only to get competative gear progression. Just make the told activity more pleasure and ppl will do it

I personally would love to see SC weapons completely removed tbh. Also i dont want unified currency either at any time. People want darkpromise gear? Get a group and do the dungeon. People want good weapons? Get your influence, Epic quests or Fortress Bags. People want RvR Armor? Gotta claim dem keeps. People want Duelist set? Better get some SC grinded.
Honestly. All you guys want all the time is an easy live. But with that comes the lack of feeling any achievement and progression for your chars. I wouldnt mind having Certain stuff tradeable between ones Account, but proposing to get all sh*t so easy is just plainly stupid. You now start with 'but its just for RvR and SC tokens', but do you obviously dont see where that could potentially end..

Careful Noise, that sounds a lot like work. We wouldn't want people to do work, would we?

Different activities give different rewards. There's not going to be much compromise on this point. We will be implementing keep loot chests as soon as we can, and we have people trying to get that to work right now. But before they arrive, we will not be shortcutting your path to get certain gear.
To reuse an example I bring out often, If Redeye were available from Gunbad, would you demand that we let you purchase Redeye with medallions, just because you hate doing dungeons? Would you insist on being able to get Mayhem with Scenario emblems, because you hate doing PQs? In either case, I would laugh you off the forums. If you don't like doing scenarios, you don't get scenario gear. If you don't like RvR, you don't get RvR gear.
As a NA player, I understand this makes things slightly more difficult for us, but that's just tough. Wait for keep bags, play on the weekends, and organize more fights. We cannot, and will not, compromise game design because of a low player count.
That being said, the NA population has been slowly growing in the recent months, and we've been talking about incentives/a celebration event to try to thank the growing NA population for playing, and to encourage more people to play during those hours. Maybe we'll look at fast-tracking something like that.

heres a question geni
my memory of live and its sets is hazy
does red eye support a unique set playstyle like deva/duelist does
thats my gripe
duelist and the playstyle that those armor sets support are easier to access due to the faster meal acquisition rate than deva

I wouldn't mind seeing SC weapons removed either and somehow making the Influence gear and weapons once again viable over them, but Epic Quests, Fortress Bags and Keep Bags are (as I am fully aware) being worked on frantically by the devs aswell as T4 and all of the different dungeons that people used to be able to do. And untill they're put in we don't know which way would be the best to proceed in order to warrant taking scenario weapons out of the game.
The problem is in the end the fact that the private server doesn't have enough of a steady population to provide constant rewarding RvR combat in the lakes resulting in the much needed Medallions people have to accquire in order to get their Devastator gear.
Scenarios were a good alternative to this because NEW players (and veterans too) could get to fight in SC's and still be able to get medallions fighting in more favorable rather than having to try to fight 400 % AAO, which to new players seem completely ridiculous (we all had that mindset as new players before we got around to start understanding the game alot more and its classes) because they don't yet realize how well you can profit from having a close-knit premade that works together to achieve things.
Also what you call "easy live" (I presume you meant life) is what YOU think it is as you yourself believe.
Some people can feel they achieved something really great which in your mindset is defined as "Eh, that's real easy" because you already most likely know how to achieve it via various methods of which they might be unaware.

Redeye and other dungeon sets were not designed with a specific playstyle in mind, no. That being said, they generally support the classes' main role. Some MDPS sets for example, have Strength, Weapon Skill, and AA Haste. Which is ridiculously good compared to even the reworked RvR sets. The tank sets had even more armor as a set bonus, toughness, and everyone's favorite Corrosion proc.
In any case:

We'll have keep loot bags working in like, two weeks. Not really a guarantee, but this is Nalgol's pet project, and he gets things done.
