the damage is sub par and you can just use big swing for 360 stat steal
I didn't say it was a good skill :P

I was just pointing out what you gain when going 2H. The only good thing about DBU is that it is AoE, making it easier for you to stat steal a group of enemies.

Shield gets morale pump, 20% phy damage debuff, 50% block channel, and HtL, 2H gets.... nuffin
2h gets spike damage? 2h spec gives you pretty good spike, with a decent spammable armour debuff, CD increaser, improved stat steal, and at 40/50 you can still get the KD.
All the things you mentioned can be done with SnB. The only thing 2H has over SnB is a bit more spike damage and Da Big Un' which makes it easier to stat steal more enemies.

I know several BO's like 2H (and several make it work). But i prefer the things Jaycub mentioned (except for the 50% block channel which i dislike for PvP).

I guess the Black Orc has to ask himself if the additional spike (10% plus DPS increase from weapon) is worth all the durability. The Black orc's major additions to durability is off Block, good wif shield (less stabin me helps parry and block but unless you are going for a 100% block build this tactic like it's SM counterpart is meh.)

Chosen, SM and IB can pull off the 2h spec alot easier due to Parry increasing abilities. (BOs don't have one obviously, and BG can't get their parry tactic and still be a credible 2h tank, and Knights*.) I honestly think tanks should have a means to keep their 2h parry up, and I think this should be tied to an skill based ability not a tactic.

BIg'un could follow "Follow me Lead" and grant a parry buff to you and your defensive target. It is in "Da Boss" tree which is party / Buff oriented. This would allow the BO to bring something that Destro doesn't have and would be usefull not only as part of a melee train but also for assisting "da runts".

*note: I added KotBS because they have their parry and block increase is tied to a shield, and their runefang ability only grants about +5% parry.

I haven't read everything. I will.

If you are running two bo's as your tanks in a 6 man... I know crazy but if you are. You can cycle quit yer squablin morale 1 to give your entire group 10% additional parry and dodge due to its 30 sec duration and morale cooldowns being 1 minute. With two BO's tanks you can constantly keep this up. Just something to think on for 2hnder BO's for additional parry. Even with shield tanks parry isn't bad for additional avoidence.

If running two BO's you can also constantly keep up a toughness buff morale 2 Walk it off.

I'ma throw in a minor little jab... this is that racial synergy stuff I keep talking about.

No armor debuff either, the tank m1 armor debuff stacks with everything additively.

I would think ideally you have you tanks run both champs and armor debuff and have a a good kill securing combo, with a mara/WL and that armor debuff stacking you can take basically anyone that is not a tank down to 0 armor.

No Shield Wall, Distracting Bellow or any other morale either since he is cycling QyS.

You guys were complaining that 2hnder BO's don't have anything to reliably increase thier parry. I pointed out a way to increase thier parry and dodge to the entire group by 10% constantly.

You don't have to keep it cycling if a situation calls for something different.

Just like you don't have to constantly be using the armor debuff or challenge if the situation doesn't call for it.

Its just another trick in your bag.
