bra, as far as my concerned, only bads would bitch and cry about people jumping around in a video game that gives you NO bonus for it.
seriously, i have NEVER played any range or healer class where i did not SPAM THE **** OUT OF MY SPACE BAR. I kite while jumping, i swing my camera around 360 while jumping. i jump up, i jump down, i jump left.
anyways, it's a joke you guys implemented auto snare. as much of a joke as all the ridiculous snares that are in it right now which prevent you from kiting in the first place. what you guys are doing is catering to the bad mdps and tanks who i troll by hugging their back the whole time cuz they're obvious clickers.
seriously, if you're pro at kiting and you don't jump and hop, then you're absolutely not a kiter and you're clicking your buttons.
you can talk all you want but we all know the truth.
anyways, time to tape my fricking tumb to the desk so i don't auto hop anymore... you know, since all the retards don't seem to understand that they can hop just like the person whose kiting.. or to actually hug their left or right side so you never get out of sync with your target.. but, hey, lets punish every range and healer cuz server latency is making all the derp dps and the two button tanks angry..

It is a client shortfall because some of the clients are a whole ocean away from where the server is being hosted, unlike on live where there were multiple servers in multiple countries.

This does not explain warping, because it happens with similar pings between 2 players as well.

Heaven forbid if your oceanic and playing with 400+ ping.
Imagine playing range on that and being called a hacker simply because your client warps purely because of distance.
Jumping is integral to kiting, especially when it comes to instant casts (Jump, Spin, insta cast, spin back, land keep strafing).
And before anyone raises the whole 'you get 180 degree casting while strafing arguement' - yes you do, however ever had smart Mdps move out of that 180 degree arc forcing you to cut the circle smaller? hmm.
Jumping is an important part of movement for ranged regardless. 10% snare isn't a huge deal, it will hurt Bw's who have all the tools to kite in the world.
But for Destruction Ranged? Practically a death sentence. Not that we could kite from Pounce spam Nubs anway. (Seriously, give that ability a CD already.)

oh, sweet mother of god. this isn't rocket science for **** sake. let me put it to you this way.
As a Zealot, I deal with this.
A. Snares that last 10 second while on 5 second cool down for many classes.
B. Snares that are AOE which my enemies do not even have to apply.
C. Range snares applied from 100 ft away.
D. Range knockdowns from 100 ft away.
E. Charge, pounce and **** all of other abilities that allow MDPS to push the back line in seconds.
AND NOW!!!
F. I have to count how many times I **** jump in combat on top of dealing with all that bullshit.
Like I said, this change is a joke. I have never played a game where I get punished for my kiting skills. Not only do I get punished for my kiting skills, nothing changes in the game. Everyone is still out of sync, the mdps is still not able to hit anything in front of them and what they've done is apply a Hello Kitty Band Aid to a 3rd degree burn.
