Well, try leveling up through ORvR, or maybe through pve grinding (takes max a few hours to reach stalker level quests). Get the quests, do some more ORvR and scenarios, finish the quests in about 1 week max and then boom, profit from not having to fight t3 players in t2 gear. This is an MMO, there is not ment to be, nor should there be a instant I get max level/have best gear/be able to compete strait out the gate with people who have been playing for much longer.
There are games like GW2 which cater for that by giving everyone the same level and gear options in their structured pvp.

On a side note this makes pugging on a healer even worse. There already was an disadvantage compared to playing a dps. I got about equal amount of soldier medallions on my dps am as my healing shaman with half the play time.
Beeing a decent healer does not guarantee that your group get kills while beeing a decent dps usually nets you a respectable number of kb each scenario.
Edit: The same should be true for tanks.

Stalker quests were doable in 1-2 days max. But again, I feel like my baby BW criting 32 dps for 300 with boiling blood have to do all the kills alone:( Leveling up is not problem, exp lays around in every pve zone for free. Its just the way to get it should be pvp, and not sharing kills against opposite fraction makes it a lot harder. Hell, it even encourage to not doing dmg at all, just focusing on getting deathblow. Is it the way low lvls should support higher ranks in scenarios?

While he started the thread sort of rudely (awesome work fixing warbands btw), I do agree with boursk. Pugs need renown too and now they are going to be screwed over 100% more than before - if the other side has a premade, you get zero renown because you get farmed, but if your side has a premade, you still get screwed over because they get all the dbs. Pug vs premade scenarios will do a lot to fix this, so I guess its not a big deal, but in the meantime once they stop getting renown they will stop doing scens, and que times will become much longer.
Another thing- I know we have the whole system to stop solo players from getting kills (does that even work? not criticizing, its a great idea, but it didnt seem to be working last few weeks), but whats to stop say, a rp/bw from joining their own group, stealing every kill in a scen, and getting 10k renown while everyone else gets 500? I guess people could join their group and leech off them, but that doesnt seem like the answer.

I just had to respond to this because its idiotically rude. He isnt asking for a free max level toon, he is just asking to be able to level his character at a reasonable rate without being in a full 6 man 24/7. Also, how is he supposed to level in rvr or do stalker quests without getting credit for dbs? If you didnt notice they need player kills, you arent going to get 20 kills of 4 classes solo on a lvl 24 in a week, or even a few weeks now.

Meants alot to me.
Again though; I'm not particulary talking about myself, but more the people who prefers to just PUG or just doesn't quite meet the needs of the groups they probably would've gained alot more with if they lived up to their standarns.. which brings us to the subject of elitism but I'm not gonna pursue that in this thread as it probably won't bring anything positive to the discussion.

If anyting i dont like the change because it promotes kill stealing and bad behaviour.
On orvr i understand the point of this, a lot of people may be afking in warbands and still rolling for loot while doing so screws people up.
But in scs and so on, we are suppose to all be playing, if not we are going to lose hard, now we have to "compete" with our own team for the kills just to get anything besides the emblems from the sc, it doesnt promote teamwork, it promotes screwing each other.
I dont know what this change was supposed to fix and i think its more detrimental to the scs than leaving it as it was.

Don't care if I get the renown/exp.
But please let kills from other groups count towards our kill quests.
Otherwise queueing solo is pointless once there is a premade in your sc, as you get around zero kills. Might as well alt+F4 everytime.
