I don't use lance much, but if it calls for it you just have to judge the situation and use whats best. BE can also be used as probably our best source of single target healing but like you say it's unreliable as it needs several factors to be in play at the same moment your target needs the healing. I think this is the biggest difference between say grace WP and vaul AM. But then again grace WP has to be in melee range to heal.

thing is, unless i'm being chased, once i dotted, ill go for 1 cast time nuke, BE or lance depending(wish we had fury of asuryan), and then pop searing touch right after, so the 1st tick lands at the same time as the nuke

those 2 ticks wrapped around a few dot ticks is the best burst we have

could also work with the silence, but none of us or so specs it due to the heal debuff and motm being more important... the only reason id do it atm is if i knew id duel a magic rdps and wanted to be at the top of my game
