The point is you can hide exploited/bugged gear something you shouldn't be able to do.

Nonsense. I'm sure Devs can inspect people regardless. Secondly you still can check the gear via Armory. Thirdly, I think half of the server uses the "hidden" option. Inspect doesn't change anything, what if they sell the duped gear straight away? You can't see that. Dupers have been banned before and hidden option is a non-factor. That's not how you find a duper.

It is true that GMs and certain devs can bypass the 'hidden' inspect option. This is mostly used to find bugged appearances. If somebody has 4 purple jewels of the same type, this can easily be seen on the armory by anyone. It also doesn't prove these jewels have been duped, as it IS possible to get 4 purple jewels of the same time through extensive trading.

In the old days, must people used /hidden to stop goldsellers from spamming them. Eventually, it just became a habit.

Whats the command for it?
/hide, /hidden and /uninspectable doesn't work.
Yesterday I wasn't able to inspect a player so there must be a command.

When you don't know the command, then you can still use the Social Menu tab and click a checkbox.
