Tesq wrote:I used the " i personally feel " form to try avoid forum pvp ; trying make pass something as i think it instead said " is in that way" like aza and other told me i done . But it seems it didn't worked until now. I will try to correct again my form so.
Anyway on live i tested both, and my conclusion in solo vs the same ppl was that warped flesh in def build prevented more damages and the 10% reduced chance to br crit was only tricky and i still got crit a lot, even spec full futile strike + that.
Use TB+ warped flesh worked better.
Well i used BW's in this example as Flawless Armor is absolutly the worst against them due to their mechanic. And this was also made with KOTBS using 2 specific tactics.
If we take another class. like Slayer.

I'll use same stats as before. But slayer instead being at 20% crit with a 40dps axe. And we can add KOBS buffs to this aswell.

3 Flurry strikes at full rage will hit for 801 dmg on averege before mitigration. -270 from WF = 531 dmg
3 strikes against FA = 768 dmg.

Now if we do the same thing and add 4 slayers. WF =2844 dmg. FA=3074

However i didn't take into consideration AA here, but what Slayer would target a tank anyway???

I completly forgot to add the proc chance of WF into the last formulas of the BW examples. The actuall absorbtion should be 270 against 1 single BW not 360....

The main conclusion i can come up with, the more you get hit the better FA becomes. the more avoidance you have the better WF becomes.

that is exatly what i wrote in more simple term in my 2nd posts, thx maybe now my point of view is more clear.

anynway there is also a chance leading shot from SW which is another 15% crit for all party :/
BW can have something like 85% crit chance with out set and renown -.-

Quick question: if I recall correctly all kind of absorbs(including Warped Flesh) absorb damage before any mitigations(toughness/armor/resits) are calculated?
And second quick question: There is no build-in cooldown on "Syphoned Energy"? So if you disrupt 5 times a second you will get 5*105HP healed?

Flawless Armor isn't worse because the enemy has higher crit chance. If my math brain works today I would think that it's better versus high crit damage multipliers (BW) than regular crit multiplier. Whether the enemy goes from 65% => 55% crit or from 10% to 0% is somewhat irrelevant.

But, and this also goes towards the initial build posted by Tenton, your job is not just to keep yourself alive. Resist aura is kind of a thing and our group also likes to run Quake and AP Aura. KD is nice but I personally wouldn't go for Opression

i agre with Tesq, if you have capped resists, tough and armor, then warped flesh is pretty damn nice. sicne at this point BW's are critting you for 200 damage, which is pretty freaking manageable.

Otherwise Warped Flesh isnt going to save your life.

I go up the trees just enough to get AP Aura, Heal Debuff Aura, and Quake.

Hdebuff aura is awful and much better HDbuffs can be found on other classes

Ap aura is unecessary for your and is largly irrelevent late game for other classes and why would you run it over str, tough, resists aura combo

AP aura is quite nice for many classes. Str on the other hand does not stack with potions so there is no reason to run it
