Nice work as always and much appreciated, but a few questions ...

What is the difference between 'General' chat and 'Region'? Does General span all four tiers and all zones like Advise?

Do we need 2 region chats? If we are in RvR and we are fighting and need to call out stuff, people just type, they really should not have to be switching between 2 region chats should they?

Also, kicking people for forgetting to switch channels, or is that only for trade? With this system I will have to pause and see what channel I am on before I type something. Way too much to handle!!!! Especially if in the Lakes where my attention has to be on my surroundings ....


PS: Any idea when the mini map bug will be fixed that shows enemy dots? Hard to gank when people know you are behind a hill ....

Thanks for another great update!

Added 6. Off-Topic and 7. Roleplay per request.

The intent of General is to handle server-wide conversations about the game which are not within the scope of Advice or any specific tier. I should probably rename it to "Realm". The intent of Off-Topic is to provide a general chatting channel that players may filter out if they wish without harming their game experience.

I understand that it's going to be challenging for you. But I'm sure with some practice you'll be able to handle it just fine.

You mean, if I post on a wrong channel, I will be manually disconnected from the server by a gm?
