You seem to be full of anger about NB. :D

If there would be some kind of NB-lite I would fully agree on removing all other abusive conditional checks.

No, I am not full anger. I just try to explain why I think it should be gone.
If it would be a baseline tool in WAR's UI I would accept it and probably abuse the hell out of it. Because than I would be supposed to do so.
But reasons are obvious, why such complex tools are not baseline in any game. Other games, that had much deeper macro options than WAR, also got gutted there, because people found ways to really abuse it.

Some players are really smart at finding ways to NOT play the game, as it was meant to be played. (be it gold farming or getting advantage over others in Raids/PvP). Respect to their skills in doing so, but it still should be turned of. Especially when it contests balance.

Do you agree that this statement is true for many more addons?

Depends on what kind of addons.
And in addition it depends on how impactful it would be.
What I should add: If making NB unuseable would take the devs a ton of ressources, I would also say please fix NPCs LoS and such things before, because thats plain annoying and for all (I guess even for NB users :-P )

Btw, we plan on getting some addons pre installed like buffhead. its valuable information that the standard UI lacks. When the preinstalled UI has its gaps closed there won't be a real advantage for players that use different addons to get more information.
The thing is: Addons like enemy/buffhead have features that SHOULD have been included in EA's UI since the game went live.
And addons like NB should have been banned from the very start.
I would even ban simple macroing if there werent such classes like IB which were obviously designed by people with at least 4 hands.
I despise all macroing tools and I strongly believe games would feel fairer without em.

Nobody wants this, not even NB users.
But you could cripple your hands by having all skill keys on your keyboard with shift/alt and still limit your movement or buy a nice gamer mouse and have one hand free only for movement and less frequently used skills.
You can't prevent ppl from buying certain hardware(more buttons) to have an advantage. Why limit a free alternative software, which does the same - increasing the amount of buttons you can press without breaking your hand.

I can only repeat myself, I'd like to get rid of addon features too, which make decisions for you. Being able to make mistakes is important. It's just an illusion that the game becomes fair, only because NB is removed. ;)

It has been pointed out before that an efficient hotkey mapping scheme ingame and on your peripherals and building muscle memory associated with it is part of the skillset in MMOs. I fully agree with that.

Still, I would see being able to macro sequences and take advantage of such an addon as part of that skillset. Such an addon doesn't really hurt the game as long as you can't connect sequences to timers and conditionals.

The biggest, and always will be, impact on balance is voicecomms. Mythic didnt put them in the game so nothing, no addon can bring that balance.
