- Recover Energy: Reworked into Cruel Reprisal; Anytime an attack you make is defended, you will automatically deal (187 + 1.0*DB) Corporeal damage to that target. Cannot occur more than once every two seconds per target.
I think this is waay too strong. Imagine vs tanks. It's gonna proc like non stop and it procs from AOE as well.
Make it on disrupt only. 5s cooldown.
The way it is it is actually better than Flashfire because after Flashfire you have to use an ability that costs AP, a 1.5 GCD and it can be defended again. The Recover Energy gonna keep proccing whatever you do without caring, adding lots of damage. They already have a pretty good proc tactic with Chilling Gusts. Imagine a group with a dok. Procs from Chilling Gusts, procs from Frozen Touch, procs from Recover Energy. All passive without having to care about.

Tanks has a lot of toughness, they will mitigate 50%+ of this dmg.lumpi33 wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 10:46 pm I think this is waay too strong. Imagine vs tanks. It's gonna proc like non stop and it procs from AOE as well.

Whose opinions are the developers listening to? Looking at the recent adjustments, all we see are nerfs to Order and buffs to Destro. Are they getting paid by players? If so, I'd be fine with a subscription. I'll pay a monthly fee, just give us some decent adjustments.Orontes wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 5:59 pmSimply amazing. There is an entire distinct thread under the High Elves with an Ocean of complaints on the grand folly of what is being done to Shadow Warriors, yet the above is what is changed. Scout got even worse and Grim Slash...irrelevant.Zumos wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 5:27 pm PTS Update 29/07/2026
Based on the feedback the team has received thus far, several adjustments have been made. You can find these below.
Balance
Shadow Warrior
- Festering Arrow: No longer able to cast on the move.
- Grim Slash: Strikethrough buff is no longer an Enchantment.
Adjustments made since the January patch:
- Weakening of IB's TAC
- Weakening of Kotbs' attack skills
- And in this patch, a significant nerf to SW

Sadly not like we have much hopes, i'm out of the server till game gets more balanced overall. Some changes seems like they smoke something strong and roll a dice to see which class they will nerf/buff.ponko22 wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2026 12:17 amWhose opinions are the developers listening to? Here my quick feedback:
- Scout SW: should be fine I think. Gotta see how they do on live.
- Skirimish SW: not fine. The AOE nerfs were really heavy. mSH feels a lot better, tankier with great tools and higher AOE damage/pressure. SW doesn't feel right. Please have another look.
Edit: forgot mSW: no more armor buff? ufff. What's the reasoning behind that? The mSH has now actually more than 100% armor bonus with the tactic and the base buff when there are no armor talis.
Why do you think Scout SW should be fine? Under the new model Acid Arrow would need to be shot first (1.5 seconds) before Fester to get any benefit of Corp. reduction, and Fester is a 9 second wait for a payoff. Fester has also had the mobility removed. What leads you to the should be fine idea?
The Skirmish and Assault changes are simply a disaster. It really feels like active hostility toward the class.
Re: [PTS] Patch Notes 23/07/2026 - RDPS Patch and New Scenario Mechanic
Why not just reduce the damage and increase cast times on Fester instead? Nobody wants to play a x2 standing shot combo dot... I was excited to play scout...
I'm going to go with the fact that the SH is inside a gigantic armored Squig and the SW isn't, for the reasoning. Makes perfect sense.lumpi33 wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 7:02 pm

That's right. I've said it many times, Skirmish is devastating.Orontes wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2026 2:04 amlumpi33 wrote: Wed Jul 29, 2026 7:02 pm

- Reduced range, reduced damage (all skills weakened by the removal of armor penetration from Skirmish; Grass Arrow and Flame Arrow, moved to Scout, also have reduced damage)
Furthermore, AP management has become even more difficult due to the increased cost of Shadow Sting.
- On top of that, defensive capabilities have been removed.
High risk , Low return class

Re: [PTS] Patch Notes 23/07/2026 - RDPS Patch and New Scenario Mechanic
It would be very nice to see some steps in the direction of right risk (range and armor) / reward equation. Kinda odd when someone attacking for afar does same or higher damage than those who attack in melee

Yeah, and people complain about disrupt, but they cn attack things that are not guarded easily and arnt CCed or shouted nearly as much lolabezverkhiy wrote: Thu Jul 30, 2026 3:27 am It would be very nice to see some steps in the direction of right risk (range and armor) / reward equation.
